Art Experience

Signed up for a Monday night class, and it was just Rich the instructor, myself, and my friend. We picked a painting, but made some fun modifications. The whole time we were just joking around, having fun. If you're going in a small group 2 or 3 people, I think having that custom experience is really awesome. But if you're in a large group especially with strangers, I wouldn't request anything extra -- at that point you're just adding time onto the experience. This is a great place!

Our instructor Rich was amazing. My daughter and I came in at 6:30pm for his class and he let us choose whatever we wanted to paint. He patiently waited for us until we were happy with our painting at 10:30pmon a Friday night, unlike most places where you are rushed out. He was also very helpful when we needed an artistic eye as neither my daughter or I are artists. All in all it was a night well spent!!!

We booked a painting class for my Dads birthday this month and had SO much fun here. Richard was amazing and made even the most artistically challenged people like myself feel like a pro. The atmosphere was super laid back and fun and they plenty of time for wine and snack breaks throughout the session :. Richard also won some bonus points for letting us raincheck on two tickets. We were supposed to have 7 ppl at the class and 2 were unable to attend last minute. We fully intended to eat the ticket prices since they reserved those 2 seats for us, but he was super understanding of the last minute change and put the two tickets back on a giftcard for us without us even asking. It was such a great experience and we will definitely be back!

I had some friends come to town for a few days and we made reservations with Richard to do a painting. I am so glad we did as my friends said that it was the highlight of their trip. First, I wrote the wrong date on my calendar so Rich had to show up two nights in a row for us. None of us could not even draw a stick person so he had his work cut out for him. He was so patient with us and gave us so much help. Not only that but he made it so much fun! I highly recommend painting with Rich.

Richard & Michelle are incredible. We had a fantastic time hosting my sister’s bachelorette party there. Richard and Michelle are very personable, professional, and open to new ideas. We are so thankful they were able to accommodate our request & work with us. Highly recommend hosting gatherings/parties there or attending classes there.....I can’t wait to go back!

This class was absolutely AMAZING! My fiancee and I share the same birthday and wanted something new and fun to do on our special day. It was a very personalized session with wonderful teaching by Rich! Highly recommend this to everyone and we are definitely planning on attending another!

I would highly recommend visiting Art Experience when in KC. Richard and Michelle do a wonderful job accommodating their guests and have an "art" of instructing others. They are both very good at what they do. The studio is very welcoming and the atmosphere sets the scene for a great time. We had an incredible experience and cant wait to go back again for round 2. We had Rich for our class and he was absolutely amazing. He stayed late to make sure at finished our paintings, helped us customize them, and was supportive and helpful throughout the entire experience.

Amazing first experience! Walked me through how to draw and paint a t rex! Turned out amazing. Used skills i didnt think i had. Techniques and tips were given throughtout the entire session. I went with my mom, most certainly coming back with my significant other!
