Art of Tuscany
"Art of Tuscany, a stone and tile store in East Mesa, imports stone directly from the source, allowing us to provide higher-quality stone products at lower prices. It was founded in 1999 by three Italian gentlemen Stefano, Mario and Marco. All three had the same idea, to bring their Italian heritage of natural stone to America. Just so happens they wound up in East Mesa to open the store they had once envisioned. With the name, Art of Tuscany, in mind the three decided on a location and started their business with just five pallets of tile. Those five pallets turned into ten pallets of tile, and those ten pallets turned into twenty pallets. Now there are over a half million square feet in stock along with a wide variety of Granite slabs, pr"

Came here in the morning, they are open on Saturdays as well, and Todd showed me their pavers and ledger they have plenty of color options and with many years of experience they helped you find whatever you really need for your project! Also thank you Todd for your friendly service and conversation
Both Todd and Paul at Art of Tuscany were friendly and knowledgeable. They took the time to help us find the right tile and recommended two installers. We went with one of them and we couldn’t be happier. The tile we picked is premium qualified with rectified edges and a much lower price than big box stores. We’re glad to have found them and support this local business.
Great selection and pricing. I've purchased decking travertine and pre-fab granite counters here. Staff were consistently helpful and informative - thank you Stefano, Todd and Paul. Everything was as promised.
They took down my Yelp comments. I found some businesses take down negative comments to hold their ratings high. Nightmare scenario with this seller and recommended installer. We were new at selecting marble. They need to be responsible for who they recommend. Issues: They should have asked us to bring in a sample of our tile and cupboards so we could match the granite better. went back to confirm color. 25% restocking fee if your change your decision even though the slab has not moved an inch. They sold us very thick granite which also came with a hefty increase in processing cost, did not know. The installer they recommended was a month late and came days short of a holiday with 2 months lead time. I was also told the installer dropped a slab. We now had a main counter with a seam in it. I wondered where the third broken slab piece went that I paid ~$800 for? Slabs were grinded/machined too much and we have gaps between back splashes and counter deck. Also see another crack that looks like it was put back together with Epoxy. Installer had to also stain the marble to get the excessive white out of it. The kitchen looks fine at passing glances but it is easy to find the bad craftsmanship. Overall, a nightmare. Worst remodeling experience EVER! If a business recommends and installer, their reputation reflects that installer.
We went into Art of Tuscany by referral of a family member. There were so many choices and the two people who helped us out were great. Showed us each tile with different lighting, against different woods, etc. They were extremely helpful and had so many more options and selections than the big box stores like Home Depot and Lowe's and for 1/2 the price. I cannot wait to get it installed. Thank you Art of Tuscany!
Great place for all your tile and stone needs. Small showroom but they have a ton of stuff to choose from. They also had great pricing on travertine and natural stone. The whole crew there is super helpful as well. Great local small business!
We purchased some tile from this place in 2018. They told us the only way to get all of our order from the same dye lot was to order it at the same time and pay for all of it up front also pressuring us to buy right then because "prices are about to go up from our supplier". We did so and picked it up in multiple loads. Upon unloading the last of it, we noticed the dye lot was different than the first loads. So we had roughly half the order from one dye lot and half from another dye lot. The color difference was notable, which was admitted by the sales guy that sold it to us when we sent him photos. He gave us all kinds of stories on what happened, blaming everyone else including their tile supplier MSI Surfaces, who you should also avoid at all costs. They could not find any tile anywhere to match our first dye lot and agreed to refund part of our money for the mis-matched tile. Then started over a year of run-around and finger pointing and they eventually settled on the story that they could not refund us anything until MSI refunded them. MSI of course refused to refund them, so they then refused to give me the refund they agreed to. I pursued the issue with the credit card I used to buy the tile initially, who agreed Art of Tuscany was in the wrong and finally got me my refund. Then, the owner decided that refusing to admit their mistake and make things right was not enough and sued me to try to recover the money that the credit card had gotten back for me. It appears reading other reviews I am not the only one something similar has happened to. There are a thousand tile and stone places in the valley, and 999 of them are more upstanding and honest than Art of Tuscany. Stay far away from these liars and cheats.
Art of Tuscany in Mesa is awesome many selections to pick from. Stefano and his wife were awesome and very helpful in picking out floor tile. Very patient and explained the difference between tiles. The prices are very reasonable , looking forward to visiting again for some granite. Overall I would recommend checking this place out first. Once again thank you Stefano your awesome! Liz S.
Art of Tuscany has some good granite slabs BUT as many reviews here say their installer recommendation is horrible. DO NOT USE Mike from Bright Stone Marble. He will butcher a beautiful piece if granite and lie to you all the way through. Art of Tuscany does not care about what the install looks like, as long as they got their money for the slab. They take no responsibility for their install recommendation. Then they recommend another company to fix the installers work. Their recommendations are not based on quality work so I just wonder if it is based on kick backs....
They have a great selection of tile at reasonable prices!
