Arthur Murray Dance Studio

The Arthur Murray Dance Studio at Clackamas is a refreshing oasis in the otherwise cultural desert of the Happy Valley, Damascus, Boring SE end of the Portland Metro area, with its bevy of bedroom communities, strip malls and small farms, but with very few opportunities for the arts. This is an unlikely place for a dance studio, and my wife Kitty and I are grateful for its presence every day we attend. The staff is very professional and dedicated to the success of its students. We get to partake of these privileges without having to battle traffic to downtown PDX! Instruction is personalized, and will accommodate most any goal the student is after, from preparing a wedding or a graduation dance to a long term hobby or even a professional pursuit. For Kitty and I, we take dance as a serious hobby where the journey is the goal. We are on the second year, and it took a larger time and financial commitment than we had envisioned at the beginning, but it's been worth every minute of it in terms of physical and mental benefits and participation as members of a community.

The Clackamas Arthur Murray Studio has a great group of dance instructors!! They are friendly, caring and encouraging you and your partner in your desire to learn ballroom dancing. Looking to learn or brush up on skills? This is THE place. My husband and I joined after a few tries at public dance lessons which always ended with arguments and stress. The opposite of the fun we were looking to have. When the studio opened a few miles from home my husband suprised me and signed us up. Even in the first lesson we learned basic steps and found ourselves enjoying dancing and dancing with each other. Amazing instructors, private lessons plus group classes and dance parties where you can try out your skills with other friendly supportive people. He has learned to comfortably and confidently lead on the dance floor and I have learned to relax and follow his lead. My husband has dance moves and not just the crazy embarrassing kind! We now have fun dancing in any situation (weddings, parties, cruises or even in our living room). This studio makes it possible all while having a great time!

We really like are experience at Clackamas Arthur Murray! Sulenis is a great instructor and Manager! She has a pulse for each person and try's too Taylor each lesson accordingly too the students she teaching! Bethney and Issac are vary nice too all vary new but have a pulse For the people who are new as well as those who been with Arthur Murray awhile! We greatly Injoyed are experiance with them and continue to as we progress in learning too dance ! We learned so much and hope to keep learning new dances in the future! As well As progress to higher levels! Are Daughter injoys Arthur Murray Vary much the friendly hands I'd instruction too her a world of good in her confidence as a person! A keen scene of Belonging! Hello, I'm leaving this post here for the wonderful ladies and gentlemen dance instructors , Salinas, Betheny, Chulsea and Isaac… As well as Arthur Murray dance studio and Clackamas.the manager and instructors could not be better, they are professional patient with a warm smile as they guide you through the course with no pressure.I for one would highly recommend Arthur Murray dance studio in Clackamas ,and their wonderful staff, along with good location with easy parking..
