Arthur Murray Dance Studio

The instructors at AM Chevy Chase have been fantastic for 7 years whether dancing with my husband or solo with my instructor. I love constantly switching partners in lessons and at dance parties. The instructors helped me get back to full dancing after hip surgery—then again later after foot surgery. They are so encouraging and just plain friendly and nice.

Arthur Murray Chevy Chase is a wonderful place. The instructors are all very nice. They teach each step gradually and with encouragement such that every student is able to master that step by the end of class. Over the last 7 years, I’ve gone from doing very little dancing to competing nationally in over 20 dances. Besides benefiting from the physical and mental workout involved in learning dance routines, I also love it that I have a whole community of dance friends here at Arthur Murray.

Arthur Murray’s Chevy Chase studio is fantastic! The lessons are so much fun, the instructors are all great, and my husband and I are shocked at our progress. We’ve been taking lessons with Anjeza - who is outstanding! In addition to private lessons, there are opportunities to reinforce what we’ve learned in group lessons, practices and parties.. Great exercise too!!

It was on my bucket list to sign up for dance lessons and i heard some good things about Arthur Murray studios in Chevy chase. I just finished a series of lessons and came away with a variety of traditional and latin dances. My favorite was the club and triple swing and Tango was really fun. Abraham was a lot of fun and tailored my lessons to my pace of learning and was always encouraging and positive. The group classes were very complementary to the private lessons and gave me exposure to different teaching styles. I am now ready to go out there and do some social dancing on the dance floor!

My husband and I first came to the studio to up our dancing skills for our son’s wedding. Six months in and dancing has now become a wonderful new way of life for us. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable, caring and fun, and the students are supportive of each other no matter your level of dancing. There is so much to learn but the group lessons and club dances that are part of whatever package you choose serve as a great supplement to your private lessons. All in all, I can’t recommend Arthur Murray Chevy Chase enough. If you’ve ever wanted to learn to dance - whether to be a more comfortable social dancer or to become a competitive dancer - come and visit and see what all the fun is about!

Phenomenal place. I used to have zero interest in dancing and reluctantly signed up initially. But the instructors were fantastic and went out of their way to ensure my progress. I now enjoy dancing and am eager to learn more whenever coming in for lessons. Dancing is one of the cool skills to have and definitely worth devoting time and resources to. I recommend trying out if you're coachable, disciplined, and love to learn.

Lessons at Arthur Murray have been an amazing experience.. my husband and I, who had no dance experience, were surprised how much we love it. All the instructors are amazing and very supportive!

My husband and I started couples dance classes about 3 months ago with Aniyesa at Arthur Murray in Chevy Chase and the experience has been nothing but wonderful! We’ve already learned the basics of 4 different dances including swing, bachata, salsa and fox trout. Everyone are so nice and welcoming. Group classes with other students are also a lot of fun! I would recommend this dance studio to anyone who wants to take the leap and learn something new!

Arthur Murray Chevy Chase is a beautiful dance studio. The dance teachers are excellent and very nice. The dance students are friendly and helpful. It's a good community to be a part of. There's also parking and Red Line Metro. I highly recommend.

My husband and I bought a Groupon for Arthur Murray in Chevy Chase. When the package was finished, we bought a dance package. They have a variety of packages and customized one for our needs. Our instructors were Jovan and Phil. Both were so nice and patient. We learned so much. It is a wonderful atmosphere for learning and fun. There was no pressure to buy which we appreciated. We will be going back!
