Wide walking paths. Plenty of parking. Social distancing signs up. Well maintained and a great place in Houston to reconnect with nature. We spotted a swamp rat or muskrat which was interesting.
We take our granddaughter here about once a week. She loves the playground and feeding the ducks and turtles! Beautiful park.
Very nice public park. Sunsets can be stunning here. Lots of birds herons, egrets, geese, ducks, hawks, etc. I'd give it 5 stars if it had more restrooms. NOTE: If you have children, KEEP THEM CLOSE. Ample opportunities here to fall or drown. WARNING: Alligators may be in the water as this is connected to a bayou.
I loved the hillside part of the park for pictures as well as walking. The lake was amazing and so was the walking trail.
Beautiful place for relaxing and play with the kid's and also do a little exercise or walk.
Best place for first dates in this pandemic and a great place for families with small children. Love the long trail and the lake where you can feed the ducks. Its clean and one of the best parks in Houston.
