Artistic Landscapes

We wanted to re-landscape our front yard, including installing an irrigation system, removing grass and existing shrubs, and replacing with low maintenance rocks and plants. We also wanted a small retaining wall built for an area by the garage for our recycling can. Robert and his crew are so hardworking and excellent to work with! Our newly landscaped front yard is beautiful, and we so enjoy it! It will be even more beautiful in the spring when the flowers bloom. Robert worked with us to come up with a scope of work within our budget. They were timely and completed the job early - in 12 days instead of 15. Every day they cleaned up the site-hosed or swept off all concrete surfaces and put all their tools away. They exceeded our expectations at every turn, and even provided extra rocks and plants beyond those listed in the bid proposal to assure it looked really nice. We are thrilled and would definitely use them again.

This is my second time working with Artistic Landscapes. Robert arrived on time for our appointment. He is personable, creative and trustworthy. I described what I thought should happen in my backyard and he gave me ideas that took it over the top. His crews arrived on time everyday and did not have to be watched over to make sure they were doing things correctly. I went to work everyday and his crews did a great job. Any concerns I had, which were nearly nil, Robert addressed promptly or reassured me he had thought of the concern before I did. I would hire this company again in a heartbeat.

We came across Robert and Artistic landscapes on Angie's list several years ago. We wanted to have our front yard landscaped, as well as a small patio put in. The moment we met Robert, It was clear that this is someone who loves his job, and his enthusiasm is contagious! He came up with a wonderful design within our budget, and even added some extra touches. Fast forward to this spring, when we decided to get a new deck and fence. Robert worked with us on several options, until we found something that was in our budget. We went with a composite material for the deck, so it would last longer, and aluminum railing, as opposed to wood. The fence included 3 gates, as well as stain. Both The new deck and fence are amazing! The deck included gravel underneath and lattice work around, to make everything look nice. Robert even gave us a couple extra feet original deck was going to be 10’ x10’-but the finished product ended up being 12’ x12’ and only charged for the labor. I think what was most impressive was the craftsmanship! The deck is solidly built, and the fence follows the contour of the yard. Even more amazing is that Robert's project manager, Bonifacio, did all of the work himself! We're looking at landscaping our backyard, hopefully next spring, and I can't wait to see what Robert comes up with!

I could not be happier with the work that Robert and his team did in my yard. I have a small yard and wanted a paver patio and path in my back and side yard, and easy maintenance with minimal water needs in my front yard. I got exactly what I wanted. I have gone from having my yard be a source of constant stress weeds, overgrown bushes, etc., to a beautiful escape. Robert stayed in touch with me throughout the process to make sure the work was meeting my expectations, and even added a surprise planter to my design. They do excellent work and care about their customers. You won't be disappointed! Update: Robert provided a one year warranty for his work. When I contacted him about some bushes that were dying, he came out and replaced no questions asked. He stands behind his work and cares about his customers. Over a year later, I am still so happy with my decision. Great work and great customer service! 2022 Update: 5 years after the original work there was a little settling in my paver patio and retaining wall. I took a picture of it and sent it to Robert asking if could give me an estimate for repair. He fit me in to their busy schedule and gave me a more than fair price for the repair work. Robert stands behind his work and wants customers to be happy, even 5 years later. I highly recommend!
