Asahi Japanese Steakhouse

Asahi by far is the best restaurant I've other been too. The food here is amazing and they have the funniest chefs! I've gotten to learn a bit from them over the years and they're amazing guys. If you're reading the reviews the chief isn't a bigot and he isn't sexist cause he acts like that with everyone man and woman. To top it off it isn't over the top at all it's more along the lines of saying he'll cook for them. The problem people are having is they are taking what he say literally and seriously and I guess this is the time we live in. This aside people are greatly exaggerating what he said and going off a single comment that may or may not be true. This place is easily a 4 star restaurant you just have to take out the one star reviews about the chief. Again all the times I've been there it's never been over the top we just happen to live in an area where rednecks that think he actual wants there lives and college students that can't tell he is like that with EVERYONE not just women and like I said it's never over the top.

I was a little skeptical to try it but the Ahasi beer tastes better than I thought. Food is great. Little pricey but that's normal everywhere now. Funny chef.

We always have a good time and the food is good but has gotten pricey. We got sides of noodles and they're $4 extra and are basically out of a ramen noodle pack and portion size and $2 more extra for fried rice. On top of a $20+ meal price...... always have friendly service and fun atmosphere but will go to Taku in kokomo for our Japanese fix.
