Disrespectful employees because they walk away when I was trying to get my food to-go. Almost fought with one of them. Very Concerned on how they got their job position because of their rude customer service. Never even looking at this place if I even drive pass it!

Great menu everything is delicious the lunch specials are really good great customer service the beer they have is really light and tasteful ask for the yogurt rice dessert you would love it.

Decided to try this place out because of Groupon (dine in only) and that is a good thing because the entire dining experience was not pleasant at all and thankfully we didn't have to pay the full price, which was surprising due to the good reviews here. It all started as soon as we step into the restaurant, Monday evening around 6, only two customers at a table with no staff in sight. Took them 2 full minutes to realize that they have new customers waiting. The server brought us to our table, and were given menus. While looking through them, noticed the prices were on the higher spectrum, which is a given since they're on Ventura. There are two options, one ala carte and the other dinner which is served with rice and soup or salad, with $3 between the two. Since my husband and girlfriend both opted for dinner, I decided to forego the rice and thought I'd share with them but boy that was the wrong decision because the portions were terribly small, kid size if I may, cmon rice is the cheapest thing and you shouldn't skimp on even though they're basmati especially if you're serving curry, gravy and stewy items! When we asked for a second serving of rice, it came in the same plate as the first serving which was supposed to be for my husband and girlfriend. Does that make sense? The entrees portions aren't proportionate either, as you can see from my photos especially the chicken Tikka masala with probably about 8oz, maybe less worth of chicken, and these are supposed to be dinner portions!? The food tasted good but if you want to be stingy and charge a premium, that's just wrong in my book. Worst of all, it's not like they're preparing these dishes from scratch, everything has been pre-made and all they need to do is heat and put together! Lastly, the server was just dry, non receptive, it doesn't look like he wants to be there. He was rude at times, doesn't even ask if you're done with your plate, just grab and go... Toward the end, he probably heard us complaining so he brought out complimentary dessert for the three of us to share, that I gave him one star and the other for taste. First and last, thanks but no thanks.
