Have visited twice and the food was good both times. garlic chicken and cashew chicken are good. Love the egg drop soup and the fried rice. Didn't like the salt and pepper chicken. But service was good. They replaced the dish immediately.

Best Chinese food in Reno. We moved into Damonte Ranch, so this was a new place for us. Great food, not greasy at all. Cost more, but worth it. I'll be taking the family back.

My husband and I were excited to try this place! It is located less than a mile from home and it had great reviews. When we visited, we were immediately greeted by the host and told we could select any available seat. The atmosphere was excellent and we were feeling great.
After we were seated, the host took our order for drinks. When asked about the hot Sake, he showed us what was available on their menu. We ordered some of their Sake and a glass of plum wine. The hot Sake was excellent and the wine was succulent. So far so good!
A short while later, a man walked up to our table without introducing himself (I assumed he was to be our server). He asked if our wine was the plum wine. We answered “yes” and he then asked us if we were ready to order. My husband selected the Kung Pao Three Delight and I chose the Chicken Curry. This was our first time here, and we assumed that rice came with the meals. But our server asked us instead if we wanted rice with the order. We each requested steamed rice to go with (it’s only a dollar extra).
The wait was not very long before our host (not the server) delivered the meal to our table with only one side-order of rice (approx. 1 cup). We figured this would be fine, because we could just order more when the server came by to check on us…
Except that never happened. Our server never once even came to check if our meal order had come out right, much less to ask if we wanted anything else, nor to refill our drinks. Instead he kept walking by, cleaning other tables, checking in on other people, and having some random conversations with the host about cigarettes. He had numerous opportunities to check on us (so hard to do), but he never once took the time to do so.
Our food had gone long cold before the server FINALLY came by to ask if everything was okay. I replied, “no it’s not”; we wanted more rice, but at this point, our food is cold and all I want now is the check and a couple to-go boxes so I can reheat the food at home and cook my own rice. The server brought over two to-go boxes and the check with a “here you go”; no apologies or explanation. How rude! That was the last we saw of our server, as it was the host who brought back the receipt-to-sign.
This place has some great potential (the price is a little steep), but unfortunately without the complement of at least a decent server, we can’t recommend it to anyone else. I rate this restaurant at two stars simply because the food was fantastic (but we could only eat part of it, because we needed more rice that we never got to ask for). Sorry, but this experience was rather awkward and quite embarrassing for us, and we won’t be coming back. There is a much (tons) better, just-as-far-away, Asian-cuisine-style restaurant called Chinese Village instead, where you get more bang for your buck on all accounts.

House Udon was exceptional...green tea ice cream was refreshing. Husband ordered Sesame beef, we shared & had plenty left over for lunch the next day.
