Associates In Medicine, PA

Friendly staff, excellent Primary Care Physicians and they were efficient! I’ve been with them for a few years now and overall it has been very pleasant. Dr. Wen Yang is amazing but unfortunately will be leaving next year. I want to come back but I may follow her because I totally trust her.

The Dr and Gwen were both amazing, thorough and matter of fact with opening for question. I did not feel once that I should not be there. This was an extremely positive visit and I wish I got her name too but the lady that took my blood was also friendly and so good at what she does. Overall, amazing highly recommended facility as a whole.

This was my first time to visit Village Medical. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The facility was very nice and convenient to my office. The staff was courteous, professional, efficient, and friendly. My appointment was at 1pm and I was taken back to the examination room at exactly 1pm. I didn't have to wait. The individual that received me was sweet, caring, and very efficient. Dr. Flores is amazing and when I left, I felt very content that my needs had been addressed and effective solutions had been provided. I will stay with Village Medical as long as my doctor is there. Great experience.

In regards to Dr.Gilford, I am very happy with my care. She is abundantly kind, thorough and personable. I have never felt rushed with her, and she answers all of my questions without minimizing me. She has also never pressured me to make certain decisions but guides me through them. I feel like I’m in good hands with her. The labs are also quick, you’re in and out.

The Good: Time to wait in lobby was less than 2 minutes. The associate who took my vitals was very thorough. The doctor was attentive and answered all my questions, and provided a solid recommendation. The not so great: The associate took me for X-ray, and left me there with no "card" and the X-ray tech was peeved about that, and told me I need to tell the associate to do that next time. I was not provided any imagery of my X-Rays during the visit. Once my X-Rays were done, I was told to go back to my room - the office was huge, ...when I returned, I had to wait another 25 minutes because my associate did not come to get me. The Bad: I very clearly stated where I wanted my prescription to be sent, I stated this in front of the office staff, the nurse, the doctor, and exit staff. And they sent my medication to a pharmacy over 15 miles away. The pharmacy then called me and told me that my script wasn't covered because they're out of network... The Summary: Great doctor, office staff is nice and kind, but the hand off - between departments, and follow up needs work.

The clinic is Very Welcoming from the Front desk to Clare. Dr Flores was Very pleasant & made me feel at ease. He answered All my Questions & I didn't feel rushed which was Great. I was Very Satisfied with the service I received from the Staff @ Village Clinic. Thanks for being there..

From the moment I went through the door until I left my appointment, my experience was superb. Friendly staff and on time appointments made me feel comfortable and happy. Dr Flores is by far the best, most caring physician I've had the good fortune of becoming a patient.

Although Dr Yang previously Associates In Medicine office on Post Oak Place Dr is an excellent caring doctor, the whole Village Medical system is a big inconvenient joke. There is no way to talk to a real person on the phone, unless you leave a voice message and wait 48 hours for a callback. I always go to the portal to check in and update my medical data and prescriptions but when I arrive at the office none of the info is available to the nurses or doctor and they ask for it all over again. This happens EVERY time. They just roll their eyes and apologize, “We know. This happens all the time. We hate it too. .”Their coding/billing process caused me to have to pay $393 out of pocket for blood work with Quest Diagnostics. I hounded them for EIGHT MONTHS and finally gave up and paid the bill myself. This will be the last time I use them. I’m finding another doctor.

Clinic is wonderful. Stuff is so welcoming and receptive. Abel Flores is a fantastic doctor, patience and understanding. 110% recommended experience! It will definitely be my place to go moving forward with any health related questions

Dr. Lisse is just plain AWESOME! He is personable, a great listener and empathetic to my concerns. I value the insights and guidance he provides. I feel so blessed to have him as my doctor for myself, daughter and elderly brother. Make an appointment with him today. You won't regret it.
