Astoria Aquatic Center

My daughter had a district swim meet here. I found the facility to be wonderful and clean. Unfortunately it was standing room only for many spectators, because Jeff Fahey (Pool cop) went and kicked people off of the stairs leading up to the slide. Not physically, but, you know. The bench seating needs to be expanded. The other drawback is that I think they have the original scoreboard. With all of the Astoria tourist revenue, they should be able to update the technology there. I did find the Astoria peeps to be very gracious and accomodating.

Was just talked to very Nasty by a lady named Betty! Not nice"and hung up on me twice! I stay in my truck because of Shelton Construction"I dont have an address" and Betty thought she would be as rude as she could be to me"Im homeless and DHS office told me to go there for my shower needs! Just like anyone that cares enough to be clean and still try and work. I haven't gave up on life. But sure seems good people who care around Here gave up on being Nice!

The kids loved the slide, I love the lazy river & the slide, we had a blast it was a wet rainy day but we were inside having fun

They have two large pools. One is an excellent lap pool. The other is mainly a large play area for the kids. It has a huge slide going in. There is also a hot tub. The place can get crowded and loud on a Sat afternoon. If you want some more peace and quiet, go before noon. Cost is $7.50 to enter. Unless you get a membership. Go and enjoy.

They have great old folks and younge folks to chill with in the hottub ,and even though im not a kid the waterslide is fun to go on .
