ATHENS SOUVLAKI was founded in 1966 by the Antonopoulos Family, even though it has changed ownership it has remained in the same family. The current owners have owned and operated the Southfield location since 1999. We have now opened a second location in Downtown Detroit inside the Penobscot building. We pride ourselves on providing the “Hospitality Experience” and we are known for our quality of food and excellent customer service- we plan to use the same successful formula in Detroit.
