Jeffrey has been an amazing Japanese instructor. I had a trip to Japan coming up and he helped me prepare and learn as much as I could before going! As a bonus since he lived there he gave some awesome recommendations for places to visit. I highly recommend!

Jeffrey is amazing and helped not only with my Japanese, but also with preparing for my trip to Japan. From how to maneuver from the airport to my hotel, explaining which different train passes I'll need during my stay, as well as helping narrow/organize different prefectures to visit. His course helped me survive in Japan while using almost no English for 2 weeks.

Jeffrey is honestly the best Japanese instructor I've ever had! He truly knows what he is talking about and is familiar with both the language and culture. He cares about his students and structures his lessons to your own pace and skill level. His patience, knowledge, and overall character make him an exceptional instructor.

My daughter stumbled across Anime a year ago and has acquired an addiction to the shows. Her addiction led to the point of learning the Japanese language. I had no clue where to look for a tutor until a co-worker referred me to Jeff because her son had the same interest. It's been like a new beginning for my daughter ever since. Jeff knowledge about the Japanese language and culture is so convincing that he has inspired my daughter to one day visit and maybe live in the beautiful country of Japan.

He understands that language learning is a personal process, while ensuring that students have the support they need to stay engaged and motivated. This is a consistently enjoyable course that offers great personal rewards.

I have been with Jeff for the past few months now and it has been great. I enjoy how he explains and teaches the language in a way that isn't dry. There are many supplements to the textbook that help me understand the language and the culture such as videos, articles, tv shows, and even games. I highly recommend him as a Japanese teacher. c:
