Aurora Reservoir

I recently bought a bicycle to get some exercise. I rode around the beach area and then the perimeter trail. The trail is 7.8 miles and a nice ride with just a few uphills. Overall I rode 10.5 miles and got a good workout.

Great place to do multiple activities. Family friendly environment. I go there for my runs. One round loop is close to 8 miles. Rangers there are friendly. I see people fishing here all the time.

Love this place! Great for walking, biking, fishing, archery and canoe/paddle board. Even have wifi! Plenty of parking, too!

Great! A 3 miles trail, width and clean. The lake is wonderful. The swim beach is clean and large. Highly recommended. $10 dollar per vehicle per day.

Beautiful reservoir. It costs $10 to get in, but well worth it. Make sure to bring exactly $10 as they don't offer change or a credit card terminal.

Beautiful for paddle boarding and canoeing. There are no motor-operated water sports permitted at this reservoir, making this a quiet place to paddle in peace. The walk around the perimeter is paved. However, there is very little shade. I advise bringing your shade structure if you plan to stay for any length of time.
