I cannot even begin to describe this company (AVA-Consultants). First I will begin with there communication skills. They do not have any communication skills at all. A representive of their's with the name of (Z) could not even get the correct area code of my phone number. I established an interview over the phone with (Z) as a Graphic Designer. When I arrived with all my material, the owner of AVA (Kieth) and is representive (Z) were there both there. I presented my porfolio and Kieth stated they just hired a Graphic Designer yesterday. (Z) in turned said I called you, hence taking the wrong area code number. Keith told me that they are still looking for a sales position, but we need you to do your homework and rehearse our script for talking to our customer. I grateful accepted this challenge. Over the weekend, I did my homework on what the company does and therefore. I then gave (Z) a call back to perform the script over the phone( so they could hear my voice, to see how well I could sell there company). (Z) Said great job, we will call you back with a final answer. Waiting two days, I called them back, Kieth the owner answered. I asked them if they made a final desicion. He replied, we are still interviewing, but please, if you could read over the script for me. I said again, didn't (Z) notify you? Kieth replied " no he did not". My though, where is the communication? After presenting to Keith once more, he said I was the top of the list and they will make a desicion by Friday. Waiting till late Friday, I call they a call once more. (Z) answered, I ask him if they made a desicion, he said we will make one by next week; RED FLAGS EVERYONE. I asked him to call me when they do make one. (Z) replied, ok I will. Waiting until the following Friday, I called them once again. (Z) answer, he said they will be making one later that day, he will call me. I waited until later that day. Called them one more time, only to recieve a rejection and and (Z) stated "that my design work was not up-to-standards and that I quote" why would you bring your design work to an interview if is not your best work". This company is not professional at all. Their communication is not professional and if they keep this up, they will not make it. Good luck to those individuals that still want to go into an interview with AVA-consultants. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!
