My favourite workplace.

Don't count on this company to pay their claims. I filed a death claim on two policies in mid April, was told the claim was in order and would be paid in 30 days. When I called after 45 days, they said the checks were mailed, but they entered the incorrect address. The claim rep said they would reissue the checks and send them out FedEx. 3-5 business days. 10 days later, claims indicated the checks had not been issued, promised to handle it the same day and confirm with phone and email. Naturally that did not happen. Understand that COVID has an effect on operations, but this kind of service to a grieving family is cruel.

Most incompetent, unprofessional, non-responsive company I've ever dealt with in my life. I've been trying for over 1 month to fix a problem with my account. I've tried calling, emailing, faxing and mailing. Every request gets ignored. Does Equitable AXA exist? Did they go bankrupt? Is anyone home? I totally regret ever getting a life insurance policy with these numskulls.

Most inefficient company. If you enjoy waiting on hold for 45 min to an hour before a human picks up the phone, than look no further! Waiting long periods of time before someone answers is a consistent problem. I called today seeking information about a payoff amount I was quoted and was told there was no one I could speak with to verify that the amount would be honored; that I would need to mail in a letter requesting that it be honored and even then it may not be all the while interest is accruing on the account, I wonder who that benefits?! Certainly not the customer.
