One star is too many! Not receiving any papers and being charged regularly. No consistent charges and even being double charged some months. When we called in it was our fault and asked if WE can prove WE aren’t receiving papers.... How do you prove you aren’t receiving anything?

This is such a dishonest company that it makes me sick. I had an ASU student come to my door and explain that AZ Republic was giving them a $500 gift card toward textbooks for signing people up for a free 3 month trial. I thought, 'Oh cool, why not help out a fellow college student?' I was specifically told that after the 3 months there was no renewal or automatic subscription. Then I see that I was charged 2 subscription renewal charges. I called to request a refund and was told that they would only return half. The representative told me that I don't get a full refund because the fine print on the receipt informs me of the renewal. Wow, sounds like a company I want to trust with my account information and my business. Apparently what you’re told and what’s written on the paperwork can now ethically be two different things now, according to the AZ Republic. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told they were out of the office, so I left my information for a callback. I was told they would refund what they could and I could discuss the rest with the supervisor. An ENTIRE MONTH went by with no call AND no refund. When I called back to request a refund AGAIN and told them about their lack of follow-through, I was told they could still only refund one of the charges and given a lackluster 'sorry for the inconvenience'. Inconvenience? Try complete disregard, and lack of real concern for customers. When someone confronts you about your shady business practices, at least have the decency to apologize rather than trying to cover your own ass with your fine print. Didn't anyone ever teach you that customer loyalty makes more money than cheating people? I'll definitely be spreading the word about your blatantly unethical business practices.

After the article to today showed the to seven biggest jokes in Az state politics were all Republican, I have cancelled everything with this company. If I could give zero stars I would. You call yourselves an impartial news organization. That's a joke. Your organization is a group of SOCIALISTS.

I went to the az republic offices for a seminar and it was such an amazing view and hospitality. Also, not a bad newspaper i guess.

This is a dishonest business whose subscription I finally canceled today. Their Monthly Billing never gives you the same amount each month, and every month always gives a balance forward even if you paid the previous bill in full! And don't use their "Easy Pay" billing method: They deduct the monthly bill from your credit card/bank and still send you the same bill to pay TWICE. I was a customer since 1992 and got tired of their dishonest billing practices which started in Oct 2015.
