Babbo Italian Eatery

When you eat at a place by yourself and think “Hmm I oughta take my mom here” then you know it’s a winner. Apparently there are lot’s of locations and for what may be a chain, this fairs very well. The Calzone was cooked perfectly and the huge thin crust dome was fun to pick at. I wasn’t a fan of how they did the ricotta in there as it had no flavor and was used sparingly, but I would order it again with some preferences mentioned to the cooks. For the price, it is a very good calzone. The Portobello mushroom starter was marinated in Balsamic vinegar and with the loads of tomatoes, you would think it would taste too acidic. But it was very enjoyable. I like this place. I will be back if I am in the area for sure.

My family really enjoys Babbo on Mondays and Tuesdays because the spaghetti and meatball special for $5 each. I’d suggest going early on Mondays and Tuesday to avoid having to wait but the wait is never long as they are very efficient. The food is always hot and fresh and tastes delicious. Also their wait staff is always friendly and efficient, on this particular occasion we had Makayla I prolly didn’t spell that right but she was very nice and personable. I also do not want to forget to add that their bread is always awesome tasting and I love their cremesicle drinks!!

We were excited to try this Italian Eatery. At first we received amazing service, but it went blah after our food was served. Our choices were recommendations from our server and sadly I was ultimately disappointed with my dish. It was ok, but the chicken were small hard chunks while the shrimp was tasteless. The fusili pasta was not seasoned and the lemon butter sauce overpowered the entire dish. The best part of the meal was the complimentary warm focacia bread with olive oil and Balsamic vinaigrette. Definitely would come back and give them a second try.

My mom, her friend & I came here for lunch on Tuesday for their spaghetti special. The food was really good but I was more impressed with the service. Our server whose name I didn't get but he was a tall guy with a beard was the only server on & even though it was impossible for him to be more present at the table he had at least 7 tables with 2+ of them having 8 or more people he was so nice & he didn't seem super flustered. He had help from a really nice manager and based on this alone, I'll be returning!

Everything we've tried here is good! But my personal favorite is their Spring Mix Salad large size here, but 3 sizes and their soft warm bread pieces with olive oil/balsamic!

Mo waited on us and we had the best service. We went with another couple & neither of us had been there in ages. The restaurant burned down a while ago & it took 8 months to rebuild. We ordered off "the board" on the menu which included a salad - you have 4 or 5 choices. My husband paid an extra $1 for a wedge which he gave half to our friend that didn't get a salad. Yummy. I had a salad with goat cheese, pine nuts & raisins -yummy. We both got a dish that included sautéed veggies, Walnuts & we added chicken. Plenty to take home & so delicious. About $17.99 plus $3 for the chicken. My friend had the chicken fettuccine which had too much pasta. Her husband had a pizza. The wine was excellent $8. We'll be back.

Delicious lunch! Cute, modern, cafe atmosphere. Beautiful food presentation. I had a meal from the appetizer menu, Pistachio Mozzerella, which was a Caprese with crushed pistachios. Beautiful and delicious. The balsamic reduction was perfect and the mozzerella super fresh. My husband had the Italiano sandwich and pasta salad and loved both. Complimentary rosemary garlic bread before the meal with dipping sauce. Will be headed back for dinner soon!

My family and I are foreigners and we had a party of 12 or so. The food and servers were great. However the management needs lots of improvement and must treat every customer equal. I believe we weren't treated good from this manager this past Saturday. My parents have been long time customers of this venue. Again I feel in my opinion that the manager needs to be more friendly with all customers.

Italian sausage pasta was excellent. The bread had some nice spices!! Great service!
