Parking is definitely challenging on the weekend, but I was lucky to get a space right in front. As a first timer, I was not prepared. You write your name on the list. There isn’t anyway to tell the wait time. I waited for about an hour after arriving at 11am. The workers were all nice. Not the dull nice, but the interesting nice. He also came back to check on me once. My food came out within 15 min. The waffle was nothing special and came plain. I expected more for something that cost $10. Would not order again. I did enjoy the ham and cheese breakfast that was $13. I just did not enjoy it above other cheaper restaurants. Overall, I am glad I dropped by. Would I come back? More than likely not.
Really really good food, really good atmosphere, friendly staff. I enjoyed everything about this experience.. even the 15-20 minute wait. I ordered the green eggs meal. #yum I enjoyed how they have meals for vegetarians! I’ll def be back next time I’m in town visiting.
The waiter John was amazing. This was my first time going to this establishment, at first I was lost until he asked us to sign in and we waited outside. The wait wasn't bad at least 20 minutes the most I think it might have been less. It was small and welcoming. I ordered waffles and chicken and let me tell you those waffles were amazing but hats off to the chicken just delicious. Just the right amount of spices. My partner ordered the porkchops with eggs just delicious. I also had leave juice freshly squeezed just that home feeling. The coffee was one if the best coffee I had. All around excellent experience. You can order to go on the website also. Parking is limited but there is parking available in the back and the front of the restaurant. Will go again to try the other dishes on the menu. Vegetarian options: There was a few vegetarian options available Parking: Few spots in the back and the front of the restaurant. I parked at the front.
Fantastic food and cheery, authentically friendly service made this a highlight. New favourite breakfast in Houston. The OJ was beautiful, the waffle was great and the biscuit literally changed my understanding of how good they can be! Impressed.
The orange juice here is so delicious! My favorite plate is the green plate! The service here is always great! Do arrive early as the wait can get pretty long. Love eating brunch here.
Great breakfast place! The wait is long because it’s a popular place and only 35 occupants . It’s a cute little diner/café in a nice neighborhood. The potatoes looked hard but not they were prefect! even the orange juice was freshly squeezed. I’ll say a 10 outta 10.
Good place to have a nice brunch with your family and friends! : We stopped by here for the first time after hours of cycling in the park! It’s a popular restaurant so we had to wait for 20 mins also but it’s worth the wait! I got Miga and it was a good one! Will definitely stop by if we go around there! Come visit and enjoy the good food! Nice service is awaited for ya! Cheers
My grandson and myself decided on trying a different place for breakfast, as he always loves my breakfast. We decided to eat out on the patio. It was comfortable with the fans running. Waitress was attentive and welcoming. I decided on the chicken fried steak, eggs and hashbrowns. Everything was wonderful. The hashbrowns had a nice crisp to it. Also, the unassuming biscuits was wonderful with the different jams available at the table, not to much biscuit.
There’s usually a wait. Sign up with your name on the clipboard. I had the migas breakfast with chorizo. It was delicious. My girlfriend ordered the waffle and added fruit- she said it was okay. Maybe that’s because she was picking at my breakfast potatoes nonstop- they’re my favorite! They also serve fresh orange juice and grapefruit- amazing!
This place is the best, it's small and cozy. The menu is great, the food is delicious and the service is fast and top notch. Not to mention, Scott makes you feel right at home. The entire staff here is amazing. If you haven't made it to this little Houston gem you are missing out!Food: 5/5
