Back Bay Speech Therapy

Lisa is amazing!!! She worked with my 2 year old boy/girl twins who were a little speech delayed and she drastically helped improve their language in a short period of time. We had been working with early intervention (EI) prior to Lisa helping us and my husband and I hadn't noticed much improvement via the EI program. Once Lisa started working with the twins, we noticed a big improvement right away in terms of their language development and putting more words together. Lisa worked with our twins at their daycare center and I received numerous compliments from the daycare employees saying how great and professional Lisa was (and that they were also learning a lot from watching Lisa interact with the twins). In addition, Lisa would also follow up with me after her visits to provide her thorough feedback/notes as well as provide some helpful tips that my husband & I could work on at home with the twins. I really can't say enough good things about Lisa - she's fantastic!

Absolutely glowing experience with Lisa at Back Bay Speech!!! Our 4 year old has had moderate speech / pronunciation issues since she was a toddler, and has had early intervention for nearly two years. She began with Lisa a few months back, and saw near immediate improvement. Lisa's calm demeanor, paired with reward-based learning was incredible for our daughter, who is notoriously shy. We continue to see speech improvements week over week, and she can now do most of them without being prompted. At a professional level, Lisa was extremely communicative (and thankfully was nice enough to work around our schedule) and even gave us bespoke recommendations for homework with our daughter. Highly recommend!!

I have nothing but great things to say about Ms. Lisa. My son is quite shy but he took to her from day one. He looked forward to his weekly speech sessions with her. She has a wonderful way with her clients; she makes the session fun while really working on the goals. My sons speech improved drastically while working with Ms. Lisa. When he first started, most people were unable to understand what he was trying to say and he would get so frustrated. Nobody has an issue understanding him anymore. I honestly can not thank her enough for the work that she did with him; I'm beyond impressed with his improvements. Not only is she wonderful with her clients but she is also wonderful with parents/guardians as well. She always takes time to communicate with them about the session and is always willing to answer any questions or concerns. She also provides different activities that can be done at home for extra practice which I really appreciated. Ms. Lisa clearly cares about her clients and their progress. She is very passionate about what she does and it really shows. I would absolutely recommend Ms. Lisa to anyone who is looking for services.

Ms Lisa was able to bring my son from the 1st percentile to the 53rd percentile in Articulation with about one year of services. Her ability to make Speech fun and engaging contributed to my sons success. He was always excited to go to his therapy sessions and came home with new understandings of sounds that he then applied and generalized. We are grateful for the dedication Ms. Lisa had in bringing our son so far, so quickly.
