Great place and friendly staff. TVs for game watching, but not noisy and able to converse without shouting. Excellent pulled pork nachos and Backwoods special ceasar salad! Also great beer selection, we enjoyed the two sours. We also had a delicious pumpkin angel food cake for dessert! I highly recommend!

Went on a cold snowy day in Portland. Not many restaurants open that day, but this was. Glad we went in. The place was busy but we were seated immediately and received quick service. We had a burger and Reuben. Both were delicious. We also both had local beers and they were great. And the tater tots = SO GOOD.

I’ve been a fan of backwoods since way back in the day when I first tried their pecan porter. I was super stoked to hear this location popped up in the pearl. The staff were super attentive and our food came out fast. The beer selection is great and I love that the menu is online so I can plan ahead of time. Will return.
