Story

Bahr Dermatology, was founded in September 2015 by Brooks A. Bahr, M.D., M.B.A.

Dr Bahr grew up in Bountiful, where he graduated from Bountiful High School. He attended the University of Utah where he received his MBA and MD graduating as co-president of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He also played football at the University and was a 2nd team Academic All-American linebacker.

At the University of Southern California he completed his dermatology residency and was chief resident. Dr. Bahr returned to Bountiful in June 2015 after working for 4 years at Stanford University as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology and Clinic Chief of Stanford's Dermatology Clinic. Dr Bahr is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and the American Society of MOHS Surgeons and is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of Utah.

Currently Dr Bahr treats all types of dermatological issues, including skin cancer, melanoma, acne, rosacea, moles, skin growth, psoriasis, rashes, melasma, vitiligo, eczema, warts, hair loss, nail problems, and teledermatology. He performs MOHS surgery on appropriate skin cancers, and offers Narrow Band UVB therapy for psoriasis, vitiligo, eczema, and itching. He also performs cosmetic services including Botox, Dermal Fillers, and Chemical Peels.
