Ballroom Dancing in NYC

Andrey is SUCH an amazing dance instructor. He is so passionate and EXCELLENT at what he does. My husband and I do not have any dance experience, but we had a vision for our wedding. Andrey choreographed our entire first dance with a mashup of songs that we had chosen, and turned our vision into reality. We are beyond grateful for him and his work. He is extremely patient, so great at teaching, humorous, honest in his critique, and has a special way of making something difficult seem so much easier to understand and do.

Andrey is an incredible instructor. My fiancé and I went to Andrey before our wedding. Neither of us had any traditional dance training, and in only a few lessons Andrey had us swing dancing. Outside of being an excellent instructor, he keeps the class atmosphere very light and fun. His communication has been excellent. I would recommend Andrey to anyone of varying skill levels and dance background.

Andrey was absolutely fantastic to work with. My now husband and I took 5 classes with him to choreograph our first dance for our wedding. Andrey was an absolute joy to work with. He was knowledgeable, encouraging, and direct. Always warm, no matter how long his day had been. He made my wife and I very comfortable, and the house lessons were incredibly convenient. In fact, in the middle of a stressful week of working or wedding planning, he often lifted our spirits and made us happier and more excited about our wedding. We can't recommend him highly enough. Also, a tip for anyone looking to take dance lessons for your wedding - start now, don't wait until the last minute! It'll be more fun that way, and you'll give yourself time to learn a skill that you can use for years to come.

My wife and I did dance lessons with Andrey before our wedding. The only sad part for me about getting married was that I wouldn't be able to take more lessons. Andrey is incredibly thoughtful, a great instructor, very patient but also incredibly good at making a dance routing happen that you can feel happy and proud about in a short time. I sincerely couldn't recommend this experience higher. He will come to you or you can go to him. And he was a gentleman, a great teacher, and someone who it was a joy to get to know and to learn from. Would recommend to everyone!!

Highly highly recommend! We received so many compliments on our first dance. The instructor is very knowledgeable: for our first dance he helped us to pick just the right song for our skill level and choreographed the moves that were easy to perform yet made us look like pros. Unlike some other studios / instructors, he was not trying to drag out the number of lessons, but rather focused on quickly teaching us just enough to make us look good. Additionally, unlike at other studios, we were not sharing the dance floor with other couples which was helpful. Finally, this instructor is just fun to work with - he is very personable, funny, and is a pleasure to work with!

My wife and I came into our lessons with almost no experience, and less time to prepare than we would have liked. Working with Andrey was very easy, and he was able to take us step by step from the basics to a great swing dance to the music we had chosen. Everyone at our wedding was very impressed!
