Allowed us to come in from the cold early, greeted and helped as soon as was possible. Comfortable seating some benches, mostly chairs, outdoor seating too. Service was friendly and helpful, offered a military discount. Party ordered beef pho. Though not on the menu you can altered which kinds of beef are in it. Broth was tasty but not as thick as usual, probably less fat content which isn't always a bad thing. Generous noodles which the party liked. Light on the basil, but only I wanted more. Also included sprouts, lime and fresh jalapeno. Plenty of sauce choices. I like how they displayed their brands and ingredients. Lots of drink choices.
For a chain restaurant it has good staff and fast service. The beef pho was delicious and had a great broth. The rice noodles are fresh and cooked just right, fresh basil and bean sprouts. The parking lot was full and difficult to find a place.
We ordered online through their website. It was a normal order we have made in the past. My wife gets the Vegetarian Spring Roll Bowl, and I got the Greenbeans with Tofu, and an order of Bambuza Rolls. When I got there I was informed that there no longer did the Vegetarian spring rolls and they had no way of contacting me to tell me this...My phone number was on the order. I was then told that they couldn't refund me the cost of the entree and that I had to choose a different entree. I asked them to substitute with Bambuza Rolls and the girl just handed me another order of them. I then requested that they also provide the rest of the ingredients that came with the bowl. The begrudgingly did and of course forgot some of the things in that order. When I got home, my food was WAY over done and honestly was not even close to what it has been in the past. It is super upsetting since we use to like Bambuza. After this I will not be going back there again. It seems to me that if you are no longer carrying an item it should be removed from the menu. You should also have the ability to refund money to patrons when you have already charged them for the non existent item. My wife and I also both experienced some pretty nasty stomach issues after eating the food as well.
Well, it's not the best but you need a bowl of pho so what are you going to do? The fried chicken thing they make here is prob the best dish, and it's damn good. Cold rice noodles bowl bun is a great summertime lunch. Prices are steep if you are accustomed to East pdx prices it's lake o, ya know?. No table service yechh. Overall not bad for the area and what it is.
I ordered the Bambuza shrimp salad rolls, Banh Mi sandwhich and a bubble tea mango. Pros: The food was great! The mango bubble tea was the best I have ever had! I almost ordered a second after i tasted it! The salad rolls were good and the peanut sauce they give with it is delicious! The sandwhich was great however they could have added more meat and house mayo but overall it tasted delicious! I will be coming back soon! Cons: The place itself was cramped and small. I bumped into like 4 people since there is no place to stand without blocking something or someone while you wait for your go order. The seats are uncomfortable bamboo and either too low or too high and it is a stool without any cushion. I get that it is probably meant to only be a quick stop and go restraunt but it would be nice to be more cozy while you enjoy the great food.
Terrible service, terrible food and very expensive. I ordered a salad. It took 40 minutes because they forget my order. I had to remind them. Took another 20 minutes and apparently what I requested and paid for upfront wasn't available. Got the alternative. Quite frankly, it sucked and wasn't worth the $14 + tip that I couldn't get back cause I paid up front. No apology, nothing. I won't be returning. Many other better restaurants in the area. Shame on me for not demanding a refund.
Enjoyed this little restaurant immensely. Nice atmosphere, friendly wait staff, and fantastic food. Will definitely be back.
So the curry was probably more of a 3.5 and the salmon spring roll was closer to a 4.0. I'm giving him a 4.0 because I think the effort and creating a unique menu is refreshing. The spring rolls in particular were unique; I like the fact they added avocado and tried to do something different. Tasted very fresh and the vegetables we're crisp.
Food smells great, but staff is bad. When I got there to pick up the food, the waitress was too preoccupied texting on her phone to serve the customers their food and then made me wait while she did so. She then proceeded to forget some of their toppings. Oh and actually while I was writing this review she forgot to give another person their to go food. Clearly she doesn't care about her job.
The staff was very nice but unfortunately I was unhappy with the food. I got the spicy beef pho and vegetarian wraps. I had been to the one in Beaverton and it was good but the food I got here was gross. I ended up not eating any of it.
