As a person going under the knife I came to Dr. Terence office for the first consultation with anxiety and apprehension, Dr. Terence was late but as he walked in, he apologized and explained thats he was also just had an appointment with his doctor. I laughed and said, now you must know how I feel, he also laughed. The conversation naturally got in to my reason of my being there and I by the time I walked out of his office, I was feeling much less anxious and more hopeful because I had a feeling that Dr. Terence is an experienced surgeon but as important, he is a compassionate man. The surgery was scheduled for couple weeks later, his staff was efficient and effective I must note, as though when working my case, they understand the severity of a person being cut and will bleed, so I got a thick envelope with instructions of where to go for the surgery, how to prepare for the surgery what blood tests needed etc. Forward to the clinique at 7am couple weeks later, the nurse that helped me prepared prior to the surgery was an angel, she made me feel much better about the whole scenario that was playing out in my head, imaginative but not too uplifting. I 'm sorry that I did not remember her name, but she absolutely has a beautiful heart, because I know one thing for certain, she was exceptional cheerful only because she wanted me to feel better since she knew I was going to be cut and chopped and poked and bleed profusely by many people. Sorry doctor, but that was true Then doctor Terence also stopped by to say hello, and the anesthetist on his team also stopped by, I confessed with the anesthetist that I had not followed the instruction for the preparation enough, he quickly assured me that it would be OK, he will take it into account with his dosage. The bed that I was on finally was pushed to the final destination in the next few minutes. The next hour or so never happened, the anesthetist did his magic and doctor Terence with his life saving knife had removed my gall bladder without my knowledge. I awoke from the blackout, groggy but happy to see the 4 small cuts on my abdomen and the angelic nurse with the heart of gold. Thank you dortoc Terence and your wonderful talented staff.
