They got be with the $28 taco Tuesday deal. Let me start with the positive. The tacos were great. I was a bit overzealous and have all 6 that are part of the taco Tuesday deal and I liked then all! Even the cauliflower and mushrooms one!! I had a strawberry margarita that tasted like it had real strawberries in it, not that syrup stuff. On a bad note the service was pretty low. I recommend ordering several tacos at a time so you don’t have to be hungry as you wait for the one waiter who is serving the entire restaurant.

I visited during a preview night for Yelp. The location is great and the interior is cozy and fun. Here's my first impression of the food and drinks: Horchata drink - sweet and cold, reminded me of an iced chai latte. Esquites - this corn appetizer was so good but it's served in a tumbler glass which made it kind of awkward to share. The Queso Fundido just seemed like melted cheese with chorizo. Too salty and nothing special. Tinga de Pollo - I thought this was the best taco that I had. The Pescado was dry and the Carnitas too salty. Tomalito - I had never had this dish before. It's interesting... a warm pineapple flavored, corn bread type cake with spicy chili sauce. It's not overly sweet and a great texture. The Tres Leches was dry and not as I would have expected. We had fantastic service and I was happy with half of the dishes. A nice place to grab a drink and snacks.

This place has the best ambiance. Great spot for date night, happy hour, a night out with friends or co workers. From the amazing customer service to the creative drink menu. Overall a great place to go to. The tacos are authentic and packed with so much flavor. They have happy hour all day on Monday and a taco special on Tuesdays. Well worth the money.

The food and drinks are amazing!! I want for Happy Hour and was not disappointed! The drinks are strong and cheap for the location. The Picadillo and corn where heavenly. They have a great Taco Tuesday deal that I cannot wait to take advantage of and happy hour all day on Monday! Will definitely return.

I wasn't expecting a lot out of Bar Lorea at first glance, but I should never judge a book by its cover. The bar was packed during happy hour, and while I can't speak too much to the drinks. It was really really good, authentic tasting Latin American cuisine; the food was awesome. I had the corn appetizer and one of the dishes that came in a pot the first one on the menu and highly recommend both. Prices were very good for how much food I was stuffed with you can get an appetizer and main plus tip for less than $25. They also do a Taco Tuesday special with 1.5 hours of all-you-can-eat tacos plus 2 drinks for $28. Will certainly come here again.

DC NEEDED THIS PLACE. Absolutely incredible cocktails we loved the definitely not a painkiller and waiters will guide you through the menu to find exactly what you want. Great tacos cod was a hit. Taco Tuesday deal is unreal too ~$28 for unlimited tacos and two drinks. Will be back again and again and again

Great drink menu, decent service and a cool vibe. Granted we only had guacamole and 4 different tacos, but the food was good, but not great. The birria taco was delicious, but the fish, mushroom, and cauliflower tacos weren't anything special. Would definitely give it another shot with there more signature dishes Calderones I believe and other meat tacos.

Drinks and food are on point here! If you're really hungry go for the calderos, the pollo guisado was amazing. Felt like a home cooked meal and the portions are very generous. I've had the picadillo too and that was real nice but I think the pollo guisado is the way to go for my tastes. I haven't had the tacos since I've been so satisfied with the calderos but my friends have enjoyed them as well! The drink, "definitely not a painkiller" is strong : get it

Amazing tacos, great service, and awesome drink selection. Me and my wife went out looking for a good taco spot. Place has a nice laid back feel. The Pollo asada tacos were the best I've ever had. Will def be back!

We were welcomed by the most friendly server, and she was so attentive and helpful in helping us select our food and drinks. Cocktails were on point not sweet, as requested, and the food was delicious and generous. It is so refreshing to have a place like this on 14th.
