If you want to pay a lot for a regular haircut, this place is for you. Truthfully, these barbers are no more skilled or experienced than those in the typical mom n pop shops in fact, probably a lot less experienced; they just have more equipment and are way more expensive. I asked for a fade that blended into my thick beard and a shape up. Instead I just got a trim on the sides and a shape up. No fade at all. And the hairline was uneven which I had to direct my barber to correct. These are not the sort of issues a high end place should have. Very disappointed. Would not recommend at all.
They have a great team of hairdressers here. It really is expensive than many other barbershops, but the quality of service is worth it. Big windows make the place look spacious, unlike other dark stores. Parking may not be easy right outside, but you can definitely find a spot in the surrounding streets.Service: Haircut
I came even though I knew it was overpriced because I've had a hard time finding a good barber and figured it would be worth it for a consistently good cut. In actuality the quality varies wildly depending on who you see. I had one cut that was decent but overpriced considering it took 20min and was just a basic trim up. Had another where I got home and once I ran my hands through and saw how the hair settled found that he just left big chunks untouched so they're not at all in line with the rest of the shaping, and if the wind moves my hair at all I have these weird long bits that stick up at odd angles. Bad enough I'm about to try to fix it myself with kitchen scissors. There are also a lot of barbers listed who won't cut certain kinds of hair or certain hairstyles. I just feel like if you're going to charge near $100 for a cut you should be proficient in a wide range of styles, even if you have one that you're better at. With the kind of reviews and pricing this place has I thought I'd be able to book with anyone and feel confident that I'd at least get a good cut, even if it's not the best of my life every time. Instead I have to now try to be my own barber or go shell out another $40 elsewhere to fix it. Everyone was super nice so I hate leaving a negative review but the cuts just do not live up to the hype.Service: Haircut
It's fine, but these prices are too high. It's a skin fade. You need one every 2 weeks.Service: Haircut
Gotta leave it five... Most expensive cuts I've ever gotten, with Paul and Diego i think. Both did a great job, gotta give Diego a slightly higher nod. Saving money on bang or even regular no appointment cuts works to save money, but not to have a perfectly lined up haircut just the way you ask.
One of the best places in Washington D.C. haircut is highly recognized by most customers who leave very grateful for their new style.
Peter was great. Personable and gave me an amazing haircut. Being new to DC, I told him that I expected not to like the place, but within minutes of being in his chair, I knew this was my new barber. Thank you, Peter!
Uneven and overpriced. Absolutely horrible haircut and beard trim. Save yourself and go somewhere elseServices: Haircut
Hate to leave a review like this. I got a cut today and asked for a simple cleanup and part. Before I could say anything, my barber cut through the parted area with a straight razor? Did not ask for a hard part, and the razor was used throughout the top of my hair. Have never seen this done. The result was unfortunately one of the worst, choppiness hair cuts I have had. At these prices, I am more surprised with the result. Will find another barber.
