Barcadia New Orleans

This was a bar with nice outdoor seating even though it was in the middle of the city. It had fun games to play. I had the soup of the day which was coconut curry chicken vegetable soup. It was delicious. The wait staff was helpful and efficient and I will definitely return the next time I'm in New Orleans.

One of the most overrated restaurants I've ever been to. I had heard good things and thought I'd give it a try. The wait was 30 minutes so I'd figured I'd play a game with my friend while we waited. The first and only game I put money into didn't work. Took a walk around the block and came back to be seated promptly. We waited at least 10 minutes just for our drink order to be taken. Long story short I played 15.00 for their hamburger and could have gotten a better one at Five Guys. Needless to say I will not be going back. Don't waste your money.

Okay, this has got to be one of the best places I've been to in New Orleans. Not only are the games fun (Pac-Man is awesome) but the entire crew was all smiles and in good spirits. To be honest, I was expecting the security to be sort of rude, but they were so amazing. The drinks were a bit expensive, but I honestly didn't mind paying because I was treated with respect. It was literally a magical place. Even the other customers were all smiles. There wasn't one thing about this place that I disliked. Excellent job!

Good quality food. Great place to play games and hang out. Fair prices... Service... Yeah. That part needs work.

The arcade is in the back. They have a decent selection of games, many of the old classics from Street Fighter to Duck Hunt. They are still 25 cents a play. Several were out of order. It's definitely bar first, arcade a distant second. There is a room that can be rented for private events with a nice outdoor patio for good weather. It was understaffed when I was there, but the bartender was very nice.
