Great food, good ambience and excellent service from your new server, Amy H! Amy was very polite, smiley, helpful and extremely attentive. When she heard that my daughter has nuts allergy, she took the initiative to check with the kitchen and put a check mark next to all the menu the items we should avoid and items that we could order without having to worry about cross contamination. We were all wowed by her attentiveness! This was our first time here and we will definitely be back soon.
Budget-friendly tapas place with great vibes and friendly service. My friend and I came here for a weekend brunch to try some of their famous tapas. We came in with a reservation around their opening time, and got a great table inside. Since their menu changes quite often, we weren’t sure what to order, but our server made some recommendations. Her service throughout the meal was superb, and we ended up getting several tapas and a half mariscos to share. This wasn’t one of the upscale tapas places where dishes are elegantly presented with complex flavor profiles. Instead, they brought classic tapas options with a slight twist. While they had some unconventional tapas such as the truffled bikini and the potato tortilla, a lot of their menu were tapas classics. Truffled bikini was a clear standout, but we also enjoyed dipping the bread in the spicy olive oil from the gambas. On the other hand, the paella was slightly underwhelming. It was topped with a small amount of seafood, and its seasoning wasn’t quite flattering. Nevertheless, our experience at the Barcelona Wine Bar was excellent. There weren’t anything mind-blowing, but we left very satisfied.
Our server was so sweet and funny, and she made the experience even that much better. Our drinks and food, including the dessert, were so delicious! My friends and I didn't feel rushed at all, and all of our menu questions were answered by our server. It was a lovely experience and I will definitely like to come back again.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: Yes
I went for my 21st birthday and had an amazing time. They gave free dessert and sang, and all the dishes were phenomenal. Everything was well seasoned and thoroughly salted. Our favorites were the croquettes, the patatas bravas and the olive oil cake!
Absolutely incredible experience here. Waitress was one of the best I’ve ever had and her suggestions were fantastic. Everything we tried was delicious. Since it was our first time at the restaurant they gave us a free dessert. Also very affordable for the quality of food, service, and atmosphere they provide.
This was one of my favorite meals while visiting Boston. My favorite tapas were the croquettas and the ricotta. In my opinion I didn’t get any truffle in the truffle bikini, but it was still really good. The meatballs and patatas bravas were average, but I’m not a huge fan of either usually so I may not be the best judge. The paella though… we got a half order of the vegetable, and it was SO good, I could have eaten the whole thing myself. Honestly the whole reason I’m giving 5 stars. Flavorful, crispy bottom, I’m still dreaming about it. I also got the rose sangria, and it was super light, fresh, and not too sweet, which I was pleasantly surprised by. Overall we got 6 tapas and the 1/2 paella split between 4 of us, and it was the perfect amount in my opinion. Would definitely come back.
Very nice experience! They have a great selection of wines, and a nice variety of charcutery and cheeses. I wouldn't recommend the jamón serrano it's just average quality, like the one you will find in most US restaurants, but the idiazabal and valdeon cheeses were great, and the bread is really good! I want to try their fuet and salsichon de vic next time, those should be good!! As for the tapas, the shishito peppers as a substitution of the traditional padrón peppers worked great, and the patatas bravas are pretty authentic. But my favorite was by far the chorizo with sweet and sour figs, totally must try! The gambas al ajillo were ok too. Overall a nice experience, we'll come back!
Went here for brunch. Their tapas / brunch menu is really nice The bikini things were my least favorite prob due to the artificial truffle flavor
Came here for my birthday lunch and wasn't disappointed at all. It's a pretty nice place in the neighborhood. The food, especially the empanadas and Gambas and Paella were really good. Also the first time I tried Morcilla as part of the Paella. Overall an awesome place, with good strong cocktails, great food, awesome ambience, friendly staff and great service.
This place can easily thrive on just selling its sourdough bread and olive oil! You can’t find a decent bakery to make such fluffy, crispy, and complex bread this place make. The ambiance is cozy, woody, and warm. The tapas are all good, the sangria is beyond the world. We have probably dined it more than 20 times. I wish they would keep some of their dishes in their menu like octopus and lamb chops. It constantly changes…
