Basil never ever disappoints! Pictured is a small arugula salad that comes with fresh tomatoes, red onion, slivered almonds and candied lemon peels! The lemon vinaigrette compliments perfectly and a small chicken and vegetable soup I only wanted half so I transferred to a mug so I can save the rest for tomorrow. There’s never a shortage of anything you order! Large portions of everything, and always delicious! No matter who answers the phone, they are always polite and assertive. They’ll read back your order at the end and always give you the total amount too. Their food is always fresh, hot and tasty no matter what time of the day you place an order. Basil Cucina is closed on Sundays, so don’t learn that the hard way like we did! Totally worth a try; you won’t be disappointed.

Everytime I order from this place they get my order wrong. Today was the third time. I ordered a salad, they got it wrong I called and told them they said they’ll send it again. They sent it again the order was still wrong I called just asking for a refund. They only gave me a refund for the missing grilled chicken I paid for. I mean isn’t it common courtesy to refund the whole order since they got the whole order wrong not just refunding the protein? Order elsewhere and save your time. Sizing and prices are way off as well.

I’ve been ordering here for a while now, my bf always thought it was a little pricey but I didn’t mind because I really enjoyed the food and the salads were huge, now they changed the sizing I’ve been told, we ordered 2 salads yesterday which came up to 50 and some change with doordash and there was barely anything in the bowl, let’s be honest here people I understand times are hard but when someone pay 20 for a salad and there’s barely anything in the bowl that’s a problem, when I could get a good salad in jersey for haft the price… won’t be returning, it’s sad because I really liked the place, it was my fav place to get chicken noodle soup as well. I don’t know why change something that works “ guess too many people kept saying the salads were huge I actually ordered a salad from millers for 7.99 in the lunch special menu and it had more salad in it than what I got yesterday. Do better please.

First time eating from here and I’m very disappointed with the food. In total it was $27 for a sandwich and mozzarella sticks and a can of soda. My mozzarella sticks were literally cold I had to microwave it and didn’t taste good at all for $10 mozzarella sticks which I find ridiculous. The Italian sandwich was okay nothing special. Delivery man was not friendly at all took over an hour to receive my food. When I called to place my order I was told 45 mins and when I realized it was over an hour I asked if my order has left I was told it’s leaving now and will be there in 3 mins. It arrived 10 mins later.. I’m at work and have a very limited time to be able to eat. I won’t be coming back.

I order from here all the time ! The prices are amazing and the food is even better ! great pizza but their burgers are to DIE for. by far one of my favorite places on Staten to order/eat at

The Food has been great all three times I have ordered from there. The stuffed garlic know is huge! The hot basil sandwich is delicious and worth every penny. Would highly recommend trying it if you are in the area.

The food is amazing, I highly suggest everything on their menu, the place is small so don't plan on spending a lot time. The people are also very friendly.Food: 5/5

You have no business texting customers early on Friday about a “Family Pizza” special that takes over 2 hours and counting to arrive, thus destroying any chance at a “family” night. Not only did Basil Cucina not deliver - literally as my food, ordered over two hours ago, STILL hasn’t come - but they actually stole an entire Friday night from my family and I. I will never step foot in this place again.

Best pizza I've ever had - period Rainy Day pie. Meatball parm panini - again, best I've ever had. And to top it off, the staff is amazing - go out of their way to make sure you're happy - they encourage feedback to make it the best experience possible - how can you beat that?!? Do you know any other place like that? Just tried the vegetarian quinoa bowl with avocado - I'm not a vegetarian but tried it because it sounded refreshing and light for a hot day - I could eat this every day - unbelievable!

Who said you cant have a huge garlic knot sandwich. Basil's creative chefs created the chicken parm garlic knot. Just full of flavor and makes your taste buds wanting more. Besides the garlic knot, Basil has to have the best pasta. Their food is phenomenal and the chefs ensure that they are use the best quality meats and best ingredients. Bang bang shrimp is a must try
