Bassett Home Furnishings

We have purchased furniture in the past from Bassett and returned this time after checking other stores because Bassett furniture is clearly better quality. We just moved in to our new house and unfortunately our furniture from the previous house would not fit. We met Lisa Thurmond on our first visit this time to the store and she was immediately cordial and very helpful. She was very patient following me through the store and showing me different items, color samples of cloth, and rugs that match what I was looking for. When the furniture was delivered to the house Lisa arranged the furniture and rugs and insured that everything was just right. Her efforts made our buying experience both pleasing and satisfying. Thanks to her efforts the furniture adds to the beauty and warmth of our new home.

Probably won't every go here again. Don't like them following me around or the prices. Actually had to ask the sales lady to leave us alone and stop asking questions about my personal life. Then she followed us around the whole store for 25 minutes from about 20 feet away watching. Ended up leaving.

I sure wish we would have known this store was here 5 years ago. The furniture is very high quality and Lisa Thurmond was wonderful. We did have a little mishap with an item we purchased, but it was caught before the item was delivered so we didn’t have to deal with having the item returned. We are thrilled with our new furniture and the manner in which it was carefully delivered. I would definitely recommend this store. Thank you to the entire staff.

New manager is trying to resolve a flooding issue with the home next door. I feel that corporate headquarters does not really care

Nice furniture, prices are higher than most furniture places. Lady was nice but followed is around the store. Would have to be pretty good discount to purchase from there.
