Be Some BODY Fitness classes use a variety of different props from stability balls to weights. All classes incorporate the exercise principles of the famed fitness trainer Joseph Pilates. They show you a way of fusing a dancer's flexibility and core strength with an athlete's balance, power and stamina. Pilates training is essential in improving posture, flexibility, balance, and the integration of a sound body and mind. Combine pilates training with strength and cardio and you will have everything you need for a complete and well-balanced fitness program. Melissa has 26 years teaching experience in fitness, dance and pilates. She is certified by the Physical Mind Institute including Advanced Standing Pilates and she is A.F.A.A certified in group fitness classes.
