Beaver Dam State Park

One of the best kept secrets in Nevada. Very well maintained, multiple access points to river, running water at campsites, shade, and fire wood available. The camp hosts are very friendly and helpful. Rainbow trout are caught out of the stream with a simple spinner lure.

This place is a great State Park. My family and I hiked the waterfall trail. It was well maintained and my 4 year old was able to walk the whole trail. Make sure you drive a vehicle that can handle dirt roads. There is a 24 mile dirt road to access this State Park. There were no ruts in the road but there were cattle grazing. Totally worth the drive.

Not worth the 20 plus miles on a bumpy dirt road.....the dam is no longer there, the place is rundown and overgrown.
