Beira Alta Restaurant

We came here tonight for our anniversary, they has music and a buffet as well as their full menu. We had the dinner for two. Food was perfect and the waiter was very nice and polite, fast and attentive. Perfect experience. Nice inside. Great wine. The dinner for two was priced very well. And the goat cheese was super fresh and very big servings. Bread to the table right away. Out of all the nice Portuguese restaurants in Fall River, I put this one on the top of my list! Quality and quantity!

Excellent attention and very clean place is wonderful

This place has gone downhill since changing ownership. We have had many family parties there in the past with excellent service and food but that was not the case this time. We had a party for 40 people. The soup tasted funny, the salad was old, brown, mushy and disgusting every bowl that was served not just one it seemed like we got the leftovers from the previous party. The food wasn't hot. Surprisingly the owner was the one helping to serve the food so he obviously thought this was acceptable. We paid extra for coffee to be served with the cake. He set up a small table behind a speaker with old tasting coffee and no one even knew there was coffee. My husband tried to discuss our issues with him and the owner argued with him for over an hour trying to justify everything. Will never come here again and I would not recommend this place to anyone especially for events.

This is a Portuguese restaurant. The menu is has a good variety. I have been a few times over this restaurant, and the food is okay. I really liked the food in this place from a few years ago. I will give it another try in a few months to see if anything changed. The staff is very very friendly and accommodating. There is music playing in the background, and sometimes requests can be made. There is also a little dance floor for those who would like to dance.

Went to Beira Alta with my family and the service was horrible! I was half way done with my meal and asked for a water which I left without getting my second water! My dad was eating his fried egg and there were egg shells in the egg! Someone at our table asked for a well done steak and guess what that wasn’t cooked how we asked for it to be! Also the food was so bland didn’t have much taste! We were done eating at 2:34 and ordered coffees! We got our coffees about 5 mins later which was okay but a half hour after that we still hadn’t got our bill! Someone from our party had to get up and ask the waitress for our bill in which she said oh which table! Horrible service and horrible food quality definitely wouldn’t recommend to anyone!

Love the food and environment, steak plate always cooked perfect . Pork and little necks is enough for two meals . We don’t speak or understand Portuguese but absolutely love the DJ and dancing, Buffet is delicious as is the mixed kabobs . Desserts and best cappuccino. Never a bad meal always a good time!

Went there for a baptism party. Food was horrible. They did not care about the service. The salad was drenched in dressing and looked old. I refused to eat it. The fried fish fillets And rice was cold and had no flavor. And to top it off, they served the cake on styrofoam plates. That is a disgrace and highly unprofessional and classless. Will not be going back

Had our wedding rehearsal dinner here and the food was fantastic. We had a party of 20 and had a family style dinner. Roast chicken and fried fish were out of this world. It was a Sunday evening and they had a dj who also sang and was very entertaining. The only negative part of the meal was that the soda included with the dinner was flat. I still recommend Biera Alta as a great place to brine the family for a nice taste of Portuguese food and culture.

Don’t bother ordering from here. On 4 occasions 2 thru Uber eats, 2 personally. Neither of the Uber eats orders arrived and when I showed up to pick up in person after waiting approximately 40 minutes and was told I would still have to wait an additional 20-30 minutes they weren’t very busy. When I attempted to call the restaurant regarding the Uber eats orders, nobody answered or the number was “not in service”.
