Bel Air Cantina

First off Lillien our server was terrific. So helpful so friendly so nice just a pleasure to have her at this restaurant. Food was great very large menu with many choices. Guacamole was definitely better than most places. Drinks were terrific too. Parking is relatively easy nearby and even though I’m not from the area I plan to visit again in the near future Came back here recently for a second time and we were fortunate to have Lillian again. She is such a wonderful server we greatly appreciate her recommendations and enthusiasm. Food was great. Will be back-again!

Tuesday and Thursdays are my favorite because certain tacos are $2. Great environment and the severs are very friendly. Food is always great and definitely recommend getting the chips and salsa!Dine in: YesTakeout: Yes

Went there on a Sunday night around 6:30. There was not a wait but a nice crowd. Service was friendly and prompt. Food was great. Only reason not a 5 is that the flavors/spices could have had a little more “pop” for an authentic mexican cantina. We’ll definitely be back.

College students playground, so nice a strip, nice little place on the small side so capacitie could be cramped if you get a big crowd but other than that it works and I enjoyed myself with my family, they also have a kids menu. Check it out. The staff was great and they know there dishes. Vegetarian options: My daughter had the veggie meal I don't know what it was but she was happy with it. Kid-friendliness: I didn't see any kids but there was a kids menu.

Simplicity is a new Standard. Artistically appealing will not disappoint. If you are in Milwaukee for the Summer, you must stop here and enjoy yourselves. Vegetarian options: Plenty of savory veggies

Look I am sorry to say this because the food is delicious but DO NOT GET FOOD FOR DELIVERY OR TAKE OUT FROM THIS LOCATION. IT'S ALWAYS WRONG. It's been over 2 years since the onset of the pandemic changed everything, and this place STILL CANNOT get it's game straight RE: takeaway! My family used to get take-out from here every week, for months, 9 times of 10 the same order. CONSTANTLY sides were ordered and paid-for but not packed, instructions in writing on the website not followed, portions considerably smaller, food cold... They even instituted a system of tags saying "Your order was packed by XXX" but STILL MISTAKES. I would have to unpack my pick-up order and check it EVERY. TIME. It's why we stopped our weekly BelAir night. My wife just ate in the dining room for over an hour. She ordered some nachos to go for me. Instructions were "no crema". Got home <5 min.and it was no crema, but also NO QUESO, and cold. WHO ORDERS NACHOS WITHOUT CHEESE?! I wish they would get a VP to focus on and manage their expediting protocols, or have the integrity to just admit they can't do it. The servers are great and the food's fun take on Mexican is tasty, but if you're not dining-in you're taking your chances.

Short walk from the Oriental Theatre and other entertaining places in the area. BelAir can hold a decent amount of people and looks comfortable. Drink specials and the available alcohol are good for being a small place. We had two burritos that were delicious. It came with a white cheese sauce and red sauce for dipping. The white cheese was great and had a nice spicy kick to it. The red sauce tasted like marinara and we didn't bother using it. The waiter got my order wrong even after confirming it twice then argued with me when I said it was wrong. I'd gladly try again as I'm sure the error was an honest mistake and a one-off situation.

Stopped in for a dinner before a show: great and prompt service, tasty tacos and great dessert. We were sad that they were out of the portobello mushroom options but the other vegetarian options, especially the tempura vegetable tacos, were very tasty! Highly recommend!

Summer fish, Carne asada, and Korean beef tacos. The Mahi Mahi was a bit on the bland side but the others were awesome. Homemade chips and a cool atmosphere. Love stopping by here when I'm in Milwaukee. Vegetarian friends loved their vegetarian tacos too!

The best part of our dinner was the Margaritas and the salsas, Verde was the best... Fresh and vibrant. The meal was mediocre at best. We each had a bowl, both were lukewarm at best and lacked Mexican spices. Mine was supposed to have cole slaw, what I got was a bed of shredded cabbage, no slaw sauce at all! Happy hour maybe, never again for dinner.
