beautiful theatre! i got a rush ticket with a partial view - seated at the front row mezz at the very end. if you’re here to watch maybe happy ending, i would highly recommend not sitting here. i could only see the full set ~70% of the time haha due to the box-staging the show was otherwise wonderful and i cried in this incredible theatre
I had an unforgettable evening at the Belasco Theatre in NY. The historic charm, combined with modern amenities, created a perfect ambiance for the show. The acoustics and sightlines were exceptional, making it a top-notch venue for theatergoers.
Gorgeous theater! Really appreciated staff announcements of turning off cell phones & continuing to be diligent about it. Appropriate was outstanding and was so grateful to be able to see it. Sarah Paulson was outstanding & led a fully charged cast! Everyone was so kind, friendly and gracious!
Beautiful space, quite cozy and intimate. If you’re a tall or bigger person - the seats are not as comfortable and forgiving.
Went to see Farinelli and the King, Gettin band back together and Network here. Cute theater and has a unique charm to it. Watched Mark Rylance and he was amazing in the role. Opera was amazing and story line was good. Bryan Cranston was too good. Seats were comfortable and we had a good time! Saw appropriate play too.
This theater is a gem. It has recently been restored and the attention to detail is amazing. The original Tiffany glass lights are now sparkling, the seats are comfortable, and the artwork is wonderful. Come early to enjoy this masterpiece!
Beautiful little theater, wonderful staff / ushers, and an amazing show!
Another great small historic theater in NYCs theater district. We were in the mezzanine and had a perfect view of the stage.
Came to see 'Appropriate' with Sarah Paulson. I have to say, my sister and I were underwhelmed, as were the two couple's either side of us. The theatre is a nice intimate little space, however I thought selling a lemonade at intermission from your bar for $10 and saying that it's refillable, but then closing the bar after intermission was at best dishonest.
Beautiful theater in the heart of midtown. What you'll notice first is the design and, at least the look of newness. Comfortable seats, friendly staff, and a venue that is not huge, but just right for feeling an intimate setting. I font think you can have a bad seat in the house. Almost makes the shown itself secondary.
