I could not have had a better experience with a company! My beautiful home that I had just purchased for my wife and three kids caught on fire. The amount of damage was incomprehensible. My kitchen, master bedroom, living room, theatre, hallways, and all three of my kids bedrooms were extensively damaged. Thankfully at one of the worst times of my life, my insurance adjuster told me to contact BELFOR. They not only put my house back together, but it was put back together even better than when I purchased it! They were very organized, prompt, and communicative. From my project manager, to the Superintendents, to the carpenters, to the restoration folks....everyone was wonderful. I will recommend this company to everyone!

These guys just "get it" when it comes to emergency response and then repairs. This last year we had a water pipe burst on one of our high-rise buildings and it affected approximately 10 floors of occupied space. I can't think of any other firm that could roll out within the hour and have us cleaned up by the next day. THEN, they handled all the repairs, restoring the asset to it's original condition, utilizing original materials and fixtures from all over the U.S. and the globe.
A definite "Must Use"!!

After water damage from an overflowing sink a couple of years back (caused by our 3-year-old), we hired Belfor to come in and do restoration work in our basement. This included opening up and drying out several walls downstairs, replacing carpet, installing new drywall and finally painting it. The team was quick and efficient, were recommended by insurance, and everything was back to normal within a few days.
Hopefully you'll be lucky enough to never have to call a restoration company. But if you do end up needing to make that call, make it to Belfor.

I have used Belfor a total of three times over the last seven years. The first two were when my water heater broke (first time I had an old water heater that rusted through and second time was a tankless water heater that leaked -- I have not had good luck with water heaters). Both times my basement flooded and both times Belfor was ON THE BALL -- came out SAME DAY had the entire place cleaned up SAME DAY with dehumidifiers running by the time they left. Although it is a situation you don't want to have happen more than once (or once, for that matter), they were so on the ball that I did not hesitate calling them for the second water heater event.
I do not recall what their pricing was as both of the above were insurance claims, but in both instances the work (which included fixing drywall and completely new floors) was done on time and looked better than when I had started. The only thing I had to do was sign some papers and go pick out the floors I wanted (I kept the same paint color, but you'd never be able to tell that they painted only the bottom foot or so of the drywall as it blends in seamlessly).
The third occasion was for a remodel of my bathroom (not a restoration job or an insurance claim). Their bid was very competitive (much lower than I was expecting) and the work again was outstanding. There were no issues along the way that needed resolving, everything was perfect. They understood my vision and got everything right the first time.
Would definitely recommend.

I had the pleasure of working with Belfor when I underwent a serious mold issue in an apartment I was renting. For months, the apartment management would not do anything about the mold issue and I was left to take care of it on my own. Thankfully I found Belfor! They came in and assessed my moldy bedroom by taking moisture readings and mold samples every few inches in order to get an accurate depiction of the issue. Through this, they discovered that I was living in a hazardous environment and not only did they remedy the issue ASAP, they wrote a very detailed and professional report that allowed me to break my lease due to the apartment forcing me to live in unsafe conditions for months and causing mold poisoning.
They were so patient and caring during this very scary and vulnerable time for me and they gave me my life back! I was able to move, get the medical care I needed, and feel like myself again. Without Belfor, I know this would have gotten a lot worse. Instead, Belfor was amazing and saved the day! Thank you, Belfor!
