Ben's Chili Bowl

The half smoke is the way to go here. Wish the bun was of better quality. The half smoke has a nice crunch and excellent flavor. The chili is good too, but being from Southern California I prefer the chili from a different local place. Don't get me wrong, it is good here. Got the spicy chili by accident on our chili fries and it's way too spicy for me and I like medium spicy heat.

I would like to say I was disappointed in Ben's Chili Bowl but I wasn't disappointed at all because I've been there before and knew that I was going to be disappointed. The food at Ben's is not really good it's one of those places that is sort of a DC staple except it's just not very good food. I had a chili burger and the chili just wasn't all that great and the hamburger was sort of hard and chewy it just wasn't very good. I did have a Nat's shake because the Nationals just won the world Series and they had a milkshake named after them on sale for $3 so I got one in the shake was pretty good but the food??? I knew better I should have just gotten the milkshake.

Cup of chili on a cool afternoon is just what the doctor ordered. Add onions and cheese ! My first time here was really good. Nice portions for the cost, clean restaurant and the staff help us make food choices

Absolutely outstanding!! Stopped there and had the half-smokes! They were the best I’ve ever had! The chili was off the chain! I will definitely be back

A satellite version of the Original Ben’s Chili Bowl, this place serves up the same fare. A hot dog smothered in chili is the way to go, although some might find it a bit expensive for what you get. Still, this location is very clean and has free WiFi!

Walked down to Ben's Chili Bowl after seeing a movie at courthouse AMC. Ate outside since it was so hot inside the restaurant. Wife and I ordered the half-smoke with chili, mustard, and onions and a chili burger. The chili had quite the kick this time around which had both of us sweating. Washed it down with a raspberry iced tea. All for about $20.

Great food! I really enjoyed their chili dog and fries. The service was good and so was the price.

I had a small bowl of chili and Ben's Famous Chili Burger. Both were fantastic. 10/10. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

A DC classic here in Arlington. You can't beat their half smokes.
