2.5 really. “I’m going to be candid...” Stated incorrect claims about how home warranties work and what they offer. Basically forced me into agreeing with her. I was right, and I have documentation to prove that. Seemed really into saying “we will get this and this from the seller. There’s no way we can’t bring up this issue...” ...ya know, made it sound like she would work hard for a fair transaction and that we wouldn’t gloss over repairs and maintenance. But when it came down to making an offer, having it accepted, and negotiating repairs, she seemed to be on their side. Again with the Home Warranty stuff. Not knowing true prices of repairs and carpet replacement. She always acted like she knew what she was talking about, and hated when we said something that either trumped that, or was just a personal preference. $3,000 for replacing QUALITY carpets and doing other repairs was not enough and she acted like it was more than fair. It was a decent starting point, but why could we not counter and show some numbers? I’m not talking anything excessive. But geez. This is my third home purchase. My husband’s 2nd. He didn’t show it the same, but was highly disappointed in our realtor, as well. She also talked about other homes with prices that I didn’t think seemed fair, she wanted to go in at similar numbers, and I’ve since seen that those houses closed for much less. She said she didn’t need a paycheck at the time, but she was helping us by filling in for another realtor (and then staying with us)... it seems to us she wanted to make sure she was done with us as soon as possible and made as much $ as possible. I can speak from personal experience that Benchmark Realty has earned their consistently bad reviews and under two star rating on Yelp. I wasted six months with these people and was subjected to lies, broken promises and their agent putting the buyer's interests ahead of mine.. Contacting the owner of Benchmark Realty did no good as he refuses to hold his agents accountable for their incompetence and unethical behavior.

How disappointing..Our realtor (martin) was on fire to sell our property telling us he was going to make a trip to LA because our property being a speciality property a 5000 sf recording studio on our 5 ac might have a better chance to sell..better contacts. Not sure if he made that trip because we have not heard from him since the pics and video were made in the beginning..We just recently got a flood of calls from other realtors telling us they saw our listing expired but never heard from our realtor. The lockbox remained on the porch until today no note and not sure where the key is that is in it. I have never posted anything about poor customer service but now I think its time..No recommendation from me about this realtor or benchmark. 9/19/17

Benchmark was awesome to work with. Very professional and communicated with me throughout the entire process! Highly recommend them.

As difficult as it is to find affordable apartments. Alisha was very helpful and did a very professional job of preparing and helping me relocate. A first class operation and one ofb the best in Nashville. I highly recommend them.
