A few weeks ago during one of the heavy rain storms I was bring in our garbage cans from the street over our bridge and I paused to admire how the water drained from the driveway. It was just a moment of reflection that made me think, “Wow this is working just the way Paul planned it.” I was so thankful for choosing Benitez Concrete Construction to do our driveway. Our project was a simple driveway from the street to our garage. The new drive way passed between two large oak trees and our arborist recommended we not park cars or place a driveway on the ground above the roots. I came up with the solution of a bridge over the ground where the tree roots were. This was not going to be a simple project and I had no experience working with a concrete contractor. I contacted three contractors for a foundation bid and a plan for making the bridge. From the moment I first meet Paul to discuss the job I got the sense he had the experience to tackle this project. His solution to the bridge portion of the driveway made the most sense of the three contractor. The other contractor’s ideas for making the bridge, in hind sight would have been wrought with problems and delays. Paul’s patience, creativity and input on the project were fabulous. His crew and resources came together to complete the job. He had a guy to haul away the extra dirt and a cheap place for it to go. He had a great crew of concrete finishers who made a master piece. It all turn out wonderfully. Paul also help us design our front stair way and front walk ways. As well as a pad for our air conditioning and side garage door. He was very flexible with changes on the fly and fair with his pricing. Everything has turn out wonderfully. We could not have been happier and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Reference for Benitez Construction. I have been in the construction business for over 30 years. When it came time for some concrete work to be done at my home I found Benitez Concrete through a couple references from people I worked with in the business. The first job Paul did for me was finished ahead of schedule and on budget, so over the years whenever I needed concrete work done I always called Benitez first. We have done retaining walls, extensive foundation work, waterproofing projects, paving and many other projects all with the same exceptional outcome! Needless to say having Benitez concrete do all of my concrete work for so long I trust Paul and his crew to always deliver my projects on time or ahead of time and never over budget. From the moment Paul walked on the job to discuss the project things fell into place. I had contacted three contractors for a foundation bid, one I knew, one was a referral from a friend and Paul I found on online - he was the in San Jose close by to the project. His price, patience and input were the things I needed to start the project off right. At the end of the day he and his crew pulled the original scope of the work off safely, on time and for the price we agreed on. I could not have been happier and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Couldn't hire a better crew. We hired them to pour 733 sqft of new foundation and the work is fantastic. Will recommend to friends and family.
