BERGEN BAGEL! Where you’ll get more BAGEL than anything else! It’s obviously a joke for more than $7 you do NOT get your monies worth. This here is a bacon egg & cheese on a cinnamon raisin bagel. 80% bagel & 20% bacon egg & cheese. Blatant disrespect. There’s two delis directly across the street you can run to instead of this bad investment. The evidence is right here.
I got veggie spread bagel. It was pretty dried and my jaw hurt after eating all but other than that it was fine.
Really good bagel sandwiches! We were pleased with the selection of bagels and sandwiches to choose from. The service was a little slow since there was only one employee on staff at the time, but otherwise the service was friendly and considerate. We were in a hurry so we hoped to get the sandwich quickly, but it ended up being really tasty on the go!
Fast and super fresh food. The reuben with pastrami was absolutely delicious and perfectly portioned. I also got an iced cappuccino that was to die for. The best part, however, was the customer service. Incredibly polite, kind and friendly this was an excellent experience from start to finish.
Ordered sausage egg cheese on sesame bagel and a double espresso with frothed milk. The good thing is it wasn't that busy and the order did come to us quickly. However, it was around $11. The bagel was barely toasted and there was barely any egg in the bagel itself. For the quality and quantity, that's a pretty steep price for what I ordered. Felt 3* was appropriate with respect to the staff and quickly made food.
friendly staff and amazing bagels!! we went back for more the next day.
I was referred to Fulton St. Bergen Bagels by my daughter who previously had a very good experience, however mine was not as fortunate. Although the food was good, the service was horrific. I was next in line so I had to wait patiently 15-20 minutes to be served. After waiting so long, I was disappointed how I was treated. The server was extremely rude, impatient and very unprofessional. Clearly there was a difference in the way I was treated compared to the customer in front of me, so much so that the other customers tried to help. One customer was so frustrated as to how I was being treated, he walked out without ordering. I'm not sure if I want to go back. This was a horrific experience for me.
Bergen Bagels are delicious! Don't be discouraged by the line, which is sometimes long. The staff moves quickly, and the Bagels are worth the wait!
I love this place! Whenever I have friends in town, I make sure to take them to Bergen Bagels so they can try one. It never disappoints! I used to live near here and I was a regular. The staff is so pleasant and positive. I've honestly never had a negative interaction with anyone who works there, which is a pretty rare occurrence in my book. Great food, great people, great service. Highly recommend!
On Friday, August 16, 2019 I was trying to make a purchase and I was very disappointed with my experience. I tried to write a complaint privately on the Bergen Bagel website, however the site for some reason could not send it process that message and now I unfortunately have to make a public complaint, since it seems the owners respond better to Google and Yelp reviews. This is in regards to your Fulton Street & Washington street Bergen Bagel location. There have been a few incidences where my co worker and I wanted to make a purchase and found that we were being overcharged or the order was incorrect and they were not very hospitable about changing the order. My coworker noticed that there was a time she ordered 2 muffins @ $3.25 each and instead of charging her $6.50, they charged her $7.50, then two days ago, she ordered a turkey sandwich and they gave her ham...which she cannot eat for dietary purposes and needed to spit it back out. They didn't want to change it at first because they said that it was a while since she made the order. We work at a daycare and we don't get to eat our breakfast until later at times and so it was a bit later, but she still had the bag and wrapper for Bergen Bagels...and she used to go there everyday. So today I went for both of us to get 2 muffins and they tried to charge me $3.75. I told them the board has $3.25 written next to the word muffin. The cashier was unable to locate the item on the menu board, so I pointed it out and he then called the manager. They both mentioned that it was no tax and I told them even with tax, according to the menu board the muffin would still be less than $3.75 and then the manager took out a paper menu and told me to check for myself at which point I told him, they needed to honor the price $3.25, because that's the price I saw on the board, even Michael..I guess one of the owners according to Google reviews states that the wall is there so that there would be less confusion about pricing and if that's not the correct price they needed to change it. The manager did not even act sympathetic, apologize or act as if he didn't know it. When I mentioned I would file a complaint, he asked where as if he couldn't get in trouble and I told him I would find the corporate number or somewhere to complain to. He even said the board is not easy to change, as an excuse, so then why have that board if you are not even going by those prices. The manager and the cashier need to be fired and replaced. The customer before me felt her order was overcharged...it was $32 dollars and she calculated it to be around $27. When she asked the cashier how much was the tax, he could not even tell her 8.875% and the manager told her it was because she ordered tomato... What tomato costs $5.00??? The manager does not know how to deal with customer service and this place could be the place my coworker and I go for breakfast or lunch everyday and now you will be losing business because the manager and workers there don't know how to be professional. They are even on the phone ignoring customers at times which was the previous experience before this experience that I just shared...
