I've been diagnosed with an adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder) for the past year and a half. I've done approximately 6 months of physical therapy, years of chiropractic adjustments and have had a cortisone injection in my shoulder. Nothing helped! One day I just wandered into Berkley Acupuncture out of curiosity, as I often eat next door and explained my dilemma. I received Mathew Sweeney's contact info. He listened to me and explained very carefully what to expect from his treatments. During my initial consultation I felt a substantial difference in my range of motion and witnessed the positive effects of acupuncture and ART. Very knowledgeable and would recommend to anyone who could use some help.

I've been living in pain and stress for many years, I've tried many things. I don't like putting chemicals in my body thus have very limited avenues for relief. On my very first visit I had immediate relief. I committed to once a week for 10 weeks, I can't express how pleased I am with results. It's not only the acupuncture, Matt has a wealth of information to offer and I've come to trust and try all. I recently had a Dr.'s check-up... the Dr. asked me what I had done differently since the last time I saw him as my whole body/system was so much more improved. He actually requested Matt's card and is willing to make the long distance trek.(I drive almost an hour.) I go in now for tune ups and will probably continue till he retires! Thanks Matt

I have to admit, I was really nervous my first visit...I asked a million questions! Matt was so patient, kind and attentive, I knew right away that I was in good hands! He did acupuncture, ART, cupping and moxabustion on me. I had tried everything to get some relief from a bad hip injury while still maintaining my active lifestyle & nothing was helping..I spent everyday in pain! I also have had bad sinus issues for years.. After my first visit my pain was reduced dramatically and I could breathe freely! A couple additional visits and I truly feel like a new human! My hope to avoid surgery is a reality! In the future, Matt will be my first and only treatment for any injury or condition. I have 110% faith in him and his practice! Thank you, Matt!

This was my first experience with this type of treatment. I was very pleased with my body's response. Not only was there less pain, my flexibility and posture improved. I will definitely return for "tune-ups".

I've had back problems for years and fell about a year ago and made the problems worse. I tried physical therapy and that helped a bit but the joints in my thoracic spine were still stuck open and I couldn't get them to move properly. I decided to try acupuncture and Matt was great. After a few treatments I felt these beautiful pops along my spine and the pain was just gone. Whatever he did, it worked and my back is still feeling great.
