In working with professionals within the real estate industry, I value an agent/firm that provides top notch customer service, industry knowledge, and integrity. With Steve and his firm, I found all three. Not only did I find these qualities within SVG, they exceeded my expectations.
In the spring of 2014, Steve and the rest of the SVG team sold my home in less than two days. I can say with absolute certainty, that his knowledge of the market and level of professionalism that he brought to the table is what sold the house in such a quick time frame. While the quick sale was nice, it was the follow up and coordination of the process that made sure the deal closed.
Later in 2014, Steve and his team helped us again, but this time with the purchase of our next home. Steve was more than willing to show us any home that we were interested in, and provided us with the market knowledge to make an intelligent decision on our purchase. During our due diligence period, Steve and the team both were great in helping us with our "homework" on the house. During one of the inspections, Hanna Partlo took time out of her evening to show us the home one additional time. Not only did she show up well past normal business hours, she also befriended our two year old. As with the sale of our home, the process and coordination of the closing on the purchase side was flawless.
When it comes to either buying or selling your home, I know that SVG is the "go to" real estate firm in west Michigan.

The Steve Volkers Group was a pleasure to work with. Bill Pearl was a steady guide through the whole home buying/selling process. He was quietly confident and did not try to push us into any particular direction. He took the time to find out what we REALLY wanted and asked us the right questions to help us reach that goal. I would definitely recommend him to anyone that I know looking to buy or sell property.

We worked with Jame Krier at SVG and she was such a delight. She was always there around the clock for our questions and really easy to meet up with when we wanted to see a property. She actually found the house we ended up buying for us (she sent us the listing and we loved it). We will definitely be using her and SVG again if we decide to move in the future!

Working with Jamie Krier at SVG was a wonderful experience. My husband and I stared working with Jamie two years before we actually found/brought our house. When we first met her we had NO idea where to start. Jamie walked us through step-by-step the process that needed to be done in order for us to find the house of our dreams. She was always answering my email or phone calls very quickly. Kept me in the loop through every single process. I would 100% recommend Jamie at SVG to help you find the house of YOUR dreams!
