Loved it here. Great views. Campground is clean just a wonderful time. The old mine camps neat and dinasors wow.

Love the site. That is one big fossil in the parking lot! Plan for more time, you will find other more recent history too. Staff are great. You might need to be ready for the drive, it's a bit out of the way. This is really nevada, remote, just a bit raw and beautiful. Many other treasures in this area. If you can, Ione and Austin are near by.....sort of. Really enjoyed this place and people.

All time favorite state park. I love that it not only has an old mining town set up but also some cool fossils and a fossil tour. You also get to do some great hiking.

Oh yeah, I loved this place! Camped there few month ago for one night.
Beware: Have a Verizon if you go there. No T-mobile coverage at all, not sure about AT&T
Beware #2: Road to campground is dirt and quite bumpy. I don't recommend going there at night.
Enjoy: Amazing ghost town, quiet and peaceful.

Lots of interesting historic structures. The dinosaur fossil house is very cool in the staff are very knowledgeable. The fossil house tour and presentation by the state park staff was awesome!
