Best Bites Restaurant and Bakery

Just drove from MD to Best Bites! Simple order, curry chicken roti and goat roti.... roti on the side. But can you put the roti with the order. And if you are sick and coughing. Stay at home! That is unsanitary Behavior no one should have to tell anybody that due to the we being in a covid session still.Food: 1/5

Very disappointed today. Brought some soup tasteless. Brought some jerk wings very dry near burnt no hint of moisture or tenderness. Brought a piece of macaroni pie… a new experience with this version. Peas and carrots in pie. Out if the three things only the soup made it to my stomach out of pure hunger. This can’t be the same cook as my previous experience was nothing but pure joy to my pallet.

This review is from April of 2018 when the world was a different place! Imagine, I can remember this day so well because this is an incredible restaurant with delicious food! We arrived specifically for the Trinidad Doubles. Doubles are a street food in Trinidad and they're not easy to prep so we called ahead first to make sure they were making Doubles that day. We were in luck! They were delicious and my regret is that I didn't eat more! This place is clean, plenty of seating, people working there that day were nice and helpful, and the prices were very good! I have to thank my buddy from Trinidad for taking us there!

Went on the line and heard my number called. When I went to the counter an older gentleman told me I must “step back”. I told him that they called my number- He told me he didn’t call me. I reiterated that my number was called, and the other gentleman was actually putting my order together . I guess I must be imagining things. Me and all the other people around me who heard it. The person at the counter was in the process of putting my rotis together – and I wanted to make sure he included all the ingredients that I ordered and paid for. Mind you there is a large glass panel between myself and those at the counter. The older gentleman wanted to argue- I simply don’t have time for this. There is a certain way that you need to learn how to talk to your customers. If you play back the tape from your camera, you will see that my number was actually called before I started even speaking to the older manager/ owner– My number was 82. The calling of the number was the reason I left the back of the restaurant and came to the front. Before you react, check your facts- You may actually be wrong. Too many other pleasant roti shops in Brooklyn. Skip this one. Ali’s roti shop. Roti r us. Forget this one.

I always order food from this restaurant because I really do enjoy their dishes, but this was my first time doing online pick up and I was really disappointed. I ordered the pholourie and when I checked my order there was no tamarind sauce and when I asked they said that it was an extra 50cents for the sauce, I asked if there was an option to choose the sauce when ordering online because I didn’t see any options for sauce. So my question to them is who would buy pholourie with no sauce? My advice if you really want your business to prosper don’t continue to nickel and dime your customers

They have the best cow heel soup. Their food is very good as well, plus the employees are very nice to all customers.Food: 4/5

This was my 3rd time ordering roti skin from this place and every time I give them a time to pice up when I get there it’s never ready but this last time piss me the hell off my other was for 1:00 pm they call me and ask me if I can switch for 2:00 said ok but it’s 2:30 and my order is still not ready if u can’t do orders stop taking people money and not delivering it’s disgusting never again will have to find another place very disappointing

Please Best Bites, Put back the love into your Sardine’s in the morning. And teach the servers how to properly serve and dish out the food. Presentation is key!

On 7/26/23 purchased curry goat for $14. I sat down to enjoy and was totally disappointed, seasoning and flavor was great but the goat if it was goat it was hard needed to be cooked. After spending my hard earned money it would be a cold day in hell before I return. I know you don’t care if I return or not.Food: 1/5

This is my little piece of heaven in the little Caribbean. HAVE YOU EVER HAD COW FOOT SOUP? If not you must to try theirs. The best one out of Brazil. And their curry chicken roti is to die for too.
