Best Buy

Mistakes were made by the technician installing an amp and speakers into my new car. This resulted in my car being in the shop for 2 weeks because it wouldn't start. Car was ready to go within the first business day at the shop..but a certain Best Buy manager decided to use their opinions on why the car had issues. The manager made accusations saying it was most likely on our end like- it was probably our battery or starter and then saying their techs don't install amps through certain places(when the guy had shown me in person where he was running the cables through). If the manager hadn't used their OPINIONS and just did their job (turning in the proper paperwork to claims and communicating better with myself and the shop), I would have had my car a lot sooner. I didn't need a manager stepping out of their place to pretend to be a mechanic. I needed them to be reasonable and honestly to just shut up. Very frustrating. After the last few times she spoke with my girlfriend, I just pushed communication through email to have everything in writing. Mistakes happen. But how the situation was handled was a waste of that opinionated managers time and mine. 😑

To be honest I used to love Best Buy. They have become so overpriced that I avoid them at all cost. The staff knows nothing about tech and aren't helpful in the least. Thank goodness I am well versed in technology. I couldn't imagine the amount of people that get bamboozled at that store on a daily basis.

Bum steer on phone supposedly comparable with my phone server. Not. Returned phone. They tried to charge a $35.00 restock fee. After a long wrangling they returned all but $.01. Maybe they learned something from this experience. I did.

Great best buy the staff are super helpful and will do what they can to help you find what you are looking for. Only downside is they don't have an on site car audio tech. The manager says they haven't gotten anyone to apply.

I love Best Buy; not for their customer service, but just the sheer volume of electronics and computers, etc. my eyes glaze over. I’ve had no problems doing business at this location and love the purchase online and pickup at store!
