I live in the area and I had never been to Best Sushi/Teriyaki; the food was absolutely fresh and delicious. I loved the Volcano Roll in particular, it was awesome. It's a family run business in Lake Grove, and they will make you feel at home! Great service, great convenience, great conversation. Love it. -Cosmo

Neither out of the ordinary nor bad; service was pleasent and speedy while the food was average although the ginger here compared to the other similarly rated places was pink instead of white and smelled funky. The place looked like it was untouched for quite some time with dust in hard to reach places and sticky, accumulated, oil everywhere else.

Delicious, fresh sushi and sashimi. Fast, friendly service. Clean.

Nearly impossible to eat here as a vegetarian! Most sushi places have plenty of options but this wasn’t it.

Running late coming home to my family on a Friday! Surprise sushi is what my wife craves and would be a winning recipe to keep me out of the dog house. After picking up my telephone order and was 2 minutes from making it home, Best Sushi called me to inform me that part of my order was missing! I made it home to say goodnight to my kiddos, but left again to pick up the rest of my meal one of the main pieces that is popular with the wife. Best Sushi could have just let the customer go without making an effort of reaching back out, but they didn't. They called, apologized, and also made up for it by adding an extra piece in there for my family's enjoyment. Thank you, Best Sushi, for taking care of the customer and stepping up to the plate to make things right after a simple mistake!

Best sushi in the area! I tried a variety of rolls and was very impressed with each. The Best Roll and Volcano Roll were two that stood out as phenomenal. There are little things here that make a big difference, the hint of Wasabi on the Tuna Roll, the creaminess of the Philly and the structure of each roll holding together as it was intended were some very important differences that will keep me coming back. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and went out of their was to make sure the gluten allergy at the table was tended to properly with no issues.

They have great teriyaki chicken and noodle dishes. The veggies are always fresh and they give you so much food in one order of teriyaki chicken that it easily lasts me two days. They also make fresh sushi which is also totally delicious. They have sushi role specials that are different everyday and I have never had one that I disliked. The woman who works the front counter is always very polite and super nice. She always makes sure that we have everything we need. I have never had an order where my eating utensils or napkins were forgotten. I will continue to happily give this place my business.
