Took my boy in today because his left eye wasnt looking normal. I get worrisome with my dog and new people because he becomes reactive but as soon as we walked in he was calm and didnt even get alerted by the staff there. We told them beforehand and they were prepare but they too were surprised how well my dog was taking the new faces around him. Vet tech took him to get looked at and vet went over everything and still my dog did amazing with everyone there. I'm so please how amazing it went. Prices are more than fair, I definitely staying with them.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE OR THEY MAY KILL YOUR BABY! I paid $1500 for a surgery to remove a growth on her stomach. The Drs said it was not life threatening but said they should remove it to be safe. They told me there was no risk in the surgery and she would be ok after 48 hours. Immediately after the surgery I told them she couldn't walk out of the clinic they said that she was groggy from the surgery. I carried her to the car and the house. Her condition continued to get worse. The emergency clinic they referred me to wanted another $200 I couldn't afford just to see her. She died less than 48 hours after the surgery. She died a slow, horrible, painful death and no one at Bethany clinic cared or cares. When I went with my boss to confront them, they told me she was over medicated because she was a 9 year old 79lb pit bull and I should have known there was a chance she could die because she's an old, overweight dog. They had no remorse or empathy for the loss of my baby. My happy, my gentle giant who never hurt anyone in her life died because I made a decision to trust this animal hospital. Don't trust them. They are reckless and negligent and completely discompassionat about the animals they treat. Update : These people are liars also. They originally told me Happy didn't have cancer but now that we've posted these reviews, Liz from the clinic suddenly called my boss to say that all of a sudden my dog has cancer. She didn't have it before the surgery, but she got it after she died and they never thought to tell me. This is place is an uncaring, despicable, greedy animal hospital.
We have always had a great experience at Bethany Animal Hospital- including our latest addition- a medical foster who we adopted. On her first visit the Vet Tech was kind and patient as Pauline came out of her shell. Dr. Andre and other Veterinarians are great diagnosticians and are very practical in recommending treatment-considering efficacy, cost and tolerance of the individual animal. We're glad we found this clinic!
Shame on Bethany Animal Hospital for prescribing EXPIRED medication ! We took our Husky, Mia, on July 31st to see what was wrong with her. She was severely congested and her eyes were not looking normal. We did not get a proper diagnosis that day. Dr. Burdick had said she may have distemper and looked dehydrated, but then after she left, nurse Will came in, we mentioned she drank a lot of water and there was no possible way she could be dehydrated. He then checked her and said she wasnt dehydrated. On Wednesday, August 1st, I noticed in the evening our dog's jaw was pretty stiff and hard to open to give her medication. She was also drooling excessively. I spoke to Will that evening and he said he would leave a note for the doctor to see the next day since it was almost closing time. On Thursday August 2nd, our dog was not walking normal and her body looked stiff, so I called and made an appointment for that day to get bloodwork. We take her, and this time its a different Dr and nurse. We explained to Dr. Hannah her symptoms and she diagnosed her with canine tetanus. She prescribed more medicine including sedatives, muscle relaxer, and an antibiotic that was supposed to stop the tetanus from spreading. We felt confident that Mia was going to pull through even though it was going to be awhile for her to recover. On Friday evening, August 3rd, Mia was completely paralyzed head to toe, and breathing rapidly. None of the medication was helping her at all. I was not able to give her the last dose of meds that day as her jaw was completely stiff and would not open at all. Sadly, Mia did not make it past that night, and passed away while we were sleeping. Seeing that the Metronidazole Dr Hannah prescribed is expired, could be a reason why my baby passed. She didn't have to die this way.
We started taking our pets to BAH a few years ago. They helped with our first pets. They have sense parted our world, but when we backed adopted parents of more fur babies, we took them there again. They are knowledgeable, we're able to actually give us answers and made us feel like our pets were theirs too. Great staff, great service, and I don't trust anyone else other than Bethany Animal Hospital.
The staff here is amazing. My dog is not really friendly towards people who she does not recognize but they are able to work with her. Dr.Andre is the best. She does not push for me to pay for unnecessary treatments and she actually encourages more affordable options. They actually care for the welfare of your furry babies and want to ensure it’s affordable for pet-owners. If you are looking for affordable and quality veterinary care I would look here.
I had to get my cat fixed and they did a wonderful job. My cat isn't very people friendly, besides us, but they were still able to deal with her and help her until I received her. The lady who I met when I got my cat was very humorous and nice. Im glad I went here. This is a place to look at if you are going for low cost spay/neuter.
Wonderful, kind, empathetic employees. Nothing but kind words from me! They got me an appointment quickly and helped me get in earlier than expected. They made me feel at ease and gave me simple but thorough explanations of what was going on with my kitten. They don’t try to up sell you and just get you what you need to make your pet healthy and happy. My little Wither is already doing so much better just days after treatment. Excellent team!
This hospital is always warm and welcoming. I have taken both my cat and dog here for different check-ups/ exams/ treatment. The woman up front, Victoria, is always the one to help me. She is very friendly, courteous, and answers any concerns I may have. It's very uplifting to walk into an animal clinic and have a friendly face great you right away. They have great prices, and a wonderful staff. I would recommend this place to anyone!
