Better Business Bureau

Better Business Bureau is a shakedown organization that trashes good local small business until you pay their extortion fees to join. I have a small business in Portland Oregon with organic reviews over 100 and very close to a 5 star rating and BBB gives me an F. What a sham organization. This company is the worst of America. Don't believe it. If you are a small business, keep doing the right thing and taking care of all your customers and these guys can go to hell where they belong. Remember the phone book people? These guys are worse. Tell them to kiss your butt.

Seriously the worst thing ever we had them forever no problems then we got a bad fake review on every site you can think of all took them down except bbb then when we tried to cancel they wouldn’t answer we had to block payment from the bank to cancel. After tht now they have deleted all of our good reviews and kept up only the fake bad one I tried for ever to talk with them they never answer can’t I find a bbb rating for them because they are horrible it’s just a money making extortion scheme

Can't get on to the BBB website, keeps saying the website can't be reached. It's been like this for many hours, anyone else having this problem ?

BBB Accreditation is all BS This business is not BBB accredited. [OH WAIT that probibly cause they don't want to pay to be accredited by you] Businesses are under no obligation to seek BBB accreditation, and some businesses are not accredited because they have not sought BBB accreditation. To be accredited by BBB, a business must apply for accreditation and BBB must determine that the business meets BBB accreditation standards, which include a commitment to make a good faith effort to resolve any consumer complaints. BBB Accredited Businesses must pay a fee for accreditation review/monitoring and for support of BBB services to the public.

The BBB is harassing my business...they keep calling and leaving messages like I 'must' call them back to keep my business in good standing the public. I don't want to have anything to do with them. Who made them 'the authority' anyway?
