Better Business Bureau Serving The Kansas Plains

I have a home warranty from American Home Shield and I have a 30 year old AC unite it runs 4 to 5 hours at a time does not keep my home cool. When I was ask to Renew the warranty the first thing I ask would they HELP REPLACE the AC unite. Well all I'm getting from them NOW is as long as it is running and not broke they will not help me replace the 30 yr old united but they charge me the 75.00 dollars to send someone out to just look at it. Having this Home Warranty is just a poly to get your money and if you want to cancel you have to pay administration fees. Just another way for them to keep your money. HOME WARRANTY DOSE NOT EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR .... THEY HAVE ONLY DID ME MORE HARM THEN GOOD. .......ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY WILL NOT HELP WITH ISSUES.

Nothing done about complaint I filed as well!! Waiting to rate the actual business until all complaints are finished!!!

All the crews were very professional and knowledgeable of thier trade. I witnessed training on site, which is the sign of a growing company whom is not getting complacent. Turn key process and we are very satisfied with thier service and for helping guide us through this difficult process of our basement flooding.

I am a roofing contractor in Wichita, Kansas. I have a lot of respect for our local BBB office. Quite a few years back I had a poor manager treat a few customers in a less than professional manor in which I am not proud of. After my notification of this and having my BBB grade downgraded. I went to the BBB office to discuss the situation. They were very respectful and helped me to iron out the problems with our customer and to help with a plan to recover my BBB rating. I fired the manager. Today we take our BBB relationship very serious. In fact if I have a problem customer I call the BBB immediately and let them know the situation, what were doing to try and resolve the issue and to get permission to reach out to the customer to offer to meet at the BBB with an independent mediator. Today I have an A+ rating with the BBB, we are accredited and have been honor roll recipients for the last two years running. Having an excellent relationship with the BBB has helped us to build and to sustain excellent relationships with our customers. This relationship also helps us to acquire new customers because prospective customers check us out at the BBB and receive positive reports. Google reviews today are probably the most used medium for people to check out service companies but it is not the most reliable. Anybody, including competitors and those who are NOT customers, can write up anything with no accountability. The Better Business Bureau checks out all complaints thoroughly to insure they are legit and have merit. The BBB is the Best. Barry B Brecheisen of... Heartland Roof & Gutter
